I had my period on the 12th of march until the 15th, I had s_x with my boyfriend on the 17th and he came inside of me, although it has only been 5 days I am quite worried about being pregnant. When is the earliest I can take a pregnancy test with accurate results, my next period isn't until May, and I am not on birth control, and I would also like to know when the time a woman ovulates, is it before or after the period?

a woman obvulates exactly 14 days after the 1st day of the last period so for you it would be march 26th.my advice is 1st response it is very clear and acurate.

the earliest you can do a pregnancy test is the day your period is due good luck xxx

Actually if you don't have a regular period it might not be the 14th day after your period. It is the 14th day before your next period. So it depends on that but I don't think you were that fertile only a few days after your period.

Look I am so sick of people telling other people that they ovulate on exactly day 14....THIS IS NOT TRUE. If a woman has a 40 day cycle then she would ovulate AROUND day 20. Not everyone has a 28 day cycle!

yall need to do some research. chrissy was the closest with the "14th day before your next period" answer .. but the person who said that someone with a 40-day cycle ovulates on day 20?? HELLO?? 40 minus 14 is more like day 26? and you know what, bottom line is - it's not an exact science anyway. and mary -- WHAT ??? you need to work on the grammar before you reproduce.
