42 Preg With Very Low Progesterone

Im 42, missed my period, took pg test and came back positive. Went to Dr yesterday and she couldnt find the sack. HCG level came back 311 and progesterone very low at 9. Im going for more test tomorrow. I just had my first mc in Feb at 12 weeks, no heartbeat or growth. Im afraid Im going to mc again. What do you do for low progesterone levels. Any insight?

You can use bioidentical progesterone cream or your Dr. may also suggest progesterone suppositories. If you go to the miscarriage topic here and look into the Clean Slate thread, you'll find alot of help there and people who have experience with this. I just asked which is the best progesterone supplement in there, myself. I have low progesterone, too, and just had another m/c. Best wishes my dear. ~Mia
