I did have a amnio and he was all good for me I had it done I was 35 1/2 and found out the result on my 36th birthday. You will be fine. hi krissy68 hows things going 4 u? i had my scan on wednesday and was thinkig i would be bout 13 or 14 weeks so was stunned to find out im 19 1/2 weeks, my baby girl is due on new years eve. have had blood tests done just waiting to see if i need amnio (am bit scared) so fingers crossed. sending baby dust your way hun.

cher_don - I'm still ttcing. I am currently on cd10 and I will start using the opk today I am only doing that and taking my temp. I am not doing any meds. I have also started bding. Wow you are 19 1/2 weeks and you are having a little girl congratulation. Have you started thinking about names yet? What kind of blood test did you have done? I did the amnio with my last baby since I was going to be 36 when she was born it wasn't as bad as I thought it was but the wait was a killer I found out the results on my birthday. If I get pg again I will be having a amnio again so I can know a head of time. Rub your belly for me. Don't stress everything will be okay with baby. Also here is my little update. I am going to go ahead and have my laparoscopy w/hysteroscopy done hopefully by the end of the year. I sent in money last week so now I owe $650.00 it is still alot but I can see the end of the tunnel. I will try and send in at least $50.00 every 2 weeks. hi krissy my blood test was just a screening test to tell me the risk of ny baby having downs syndrome, if it comes back high risk i will be offered amnio. i really like the name isabella and as my baby boy is called isaac they seem to go well together.good luck with everything hun,thinking of you. cheryl

cher_don - I like the name as well and you are right they do go together. I decided not the have the blood test and go straight for the amnio because my doctor said that the blood test have a high false positive. I'm sure everything is going to be perfect for you. hi krissy got bloods results back today and am low risk so wont be offered amnio now, feeling quite good at the minute, probly as kids are off school and helping me in house and with isaac. hows things with u? hope you are well.cheryl

cher_don - Yay that is wonderful news and I am so happy. As for me just hanging out just trying to figure out what day fertility friend is going to say I ovulated. I got my first bfp on the opk on cd10 and then again on cd11 then on cd12 I got a bfn so I am not testing today. Also my temp for cd11 was 97.90 then on cd12 it was98.04 and today my temp is 98.00 so fertility friend said I will ovulate between cd10-13 I will keep you posted. It looks like I might be able to have my surgery for the lapacropsy and hysterscopy they are lower my fee. At first I still needed to come up with $650.00 more now it looks like I only need $475.00. Thanks for the uplifting words. I went to Doctor yesterday and found out I am only 6 1/2 weeks, due date is April 14th. I can not lie I am still scared almost everyday. I have also been so sick and extremely tired. Really cant wait to hear good news from you Krissy, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

gdyan - I am glad you went to the doctor and everything is okay. Just get as much rest as you can and take it easy and try not to sress out and just enjoy. As for me I am still trying I am currently on cd19/8dpo and I can test next Friday i will report and let you know one way or the other. Also I am in the process of sending money into the fertility doctor so I can have the surgery to remove all the scar tissue, fix my left tube and remove any fibroids or cysts I might have. I am trying to have this done before the end of the year. As of today I either owe $600 or $425 the financial coordinator emailed and said once my balance is down to $300 she might be able to lower the cost of the anethesia so if she does that then I will only need $425 but with my luck I better stick with the higher balance that is still due. I also started last Friday send in $50 every 2 weeks. I will keep you posted. Rub your belly for me and please keep in touch. Krissy

Hey girls I just wanted to say have a very nice weekend and I will talk to you on Tuesday. I will not be online on Monday because my oldest daughter and my 2 granddaughters are moving to West Virginia and it is going to be a very sad day for me. I will be okay I know it will be a good move for them. I am currently on cd21/10dpo and I am not going to test early my test date is Sep 4 and AF is due on Sep 5. I will talk to you all on Tuesday. Sharon, Of course you feel frightened but you will be fine, I think its the era of the 40's mom at the moment. My cousin had a healthy baby girl two months ago and she is doing great her oldest was nine. Its a new start, congrats, Best wishes and hope you will have a happy and healthy pregnancy. fly the flag for the healty 40's. My aunt was 49 when she had her daughter the smartest and cleverst of the family. p

Dont forget...Michelle Duggar is having her 2nd child over 40...and like her fourth over 36-38yro....its not doom and gloom. Again..had mine at 38 and 42...beautiful, smart, funny...no problems!

worthygirl - How are you doing? Well we are in it together I am going to keep trying until I hit menopause. Let me give you a quick update. Krissy68-How are you, hope you are not to sad with your daughter moving away. My kids will always be my babys I would hate for any to move away. I am really praying for you and worthygirl I really want for this to happen for you guys, when I touch my stomach and think of baby I think you you also. I have not been on cause I have been really sick,and I also turned 40 on the 1st which was not easy for me either.
