Anyone With A GIANT Uterus

I am having my 5th baby. Have not had one in 13 yrs. MY UTERUS IS HUGE! I don't remember if I was like this with my other kids it was sooooo long ago. I read a womans uterus should be just reaching out of the pelvis at 12 weeks. Mine is almost up to my belly button. I know when I ovulated so my dates are not off. Anyone other older woman with lots of kids have this problem? Tomorrow I will have a CVS. Pray there is only one......

Mine's the same way. I'm 12 wks and my uterus reaches my navel. It was like that with all my pregnancies. I think I'm just so short-waisted that there's no room for it to hide. My doctor says my measurements are on track.

Hmmm, interesting. I hope this is the same way for me. How tall are you? I am 5' 7".

I'm 5'3". This is my sixth baby. Did you get that from the "What to Expect..." book? About the uterus just reaching above the pubic bone?

...mine's up to my belly as well, but I'm 5'4" but it does feel really high up for just going on 13 weeks! So, at least you're not alone. Hopefully there is only one ...for you and me both! ha

I had my CVS today and first ultrasound. Level 3, detalied. They said don't worry about my uterus. They said everything is good BUT it is big and up very high. I am happy

Mine went from 12 to 18 in two weeks. Doctor not the least concerned, says this happens mine just went up and flat instead of popping up and out. This is my sixth pregnancy, last baby is going to be 15 in January, month after I am supposed to deliver my baby in December. Good luck. Why CVS and not amnio? Did it hurt?
