Hello All. I'm new to this website but so excited I have found it. I am newly married to a wonderful man (my second marriage) and we have decided to try for another child. We have 4 children between us (15, 13, 11 and 10). I know that people think we're crazy but we want a baby together. I would like to hear success stories from others. I am in pretty good shape, not overweight and consider myself active. I'm just nervous and concerned about being over 40 (I'm 42). I know in my heart that this will be the best ever however, I'm a little concerned.
Any help would be wonderful.

Welcome Texas Girl! I am also on my second marriage to a wonderful man. We now have 5 children of his, mine and ours, ages are 17, 16, 14, 12 and 1. I was 40 when I had our 1 yr old. I am now 41 and we are going for another one, people say we're crazy too, but we love being parents together. Our mixed family gets along great. The older kids absolutely adore our 1 yr old. It wonderful to share a child together with your soul mate! I just had a miscarriage at 12 wks and a D&C 5 wks ago. Doc gave us the go ahead to try for another, so we'll see what happens! Good luck and don't worry about your age, there are several success stories here!
