Hey ladies I really need some advise. I am currently cd 22 and either 8 or 9 dpo and I just couldn't help it my body feel strange anyway I tested witht he opk and I positive it is definetly 2 lines the test line just not as dark as the control line they are just about equal. What do you all think sould I get a hpt or just wait. Krissy68

Hey ladies thank you so much for the support. Well I couldn't help it so I did test yesterday using the opk and I got a bfp and I found a $ store brand and tested last night and I got a very very faint bfp so I am not really sure about that. I did test today using fmu with another opk and it was BFP again I will be picking up some hpt on Friday and I will let you know. I am currently on cd 23 and 9 or 10 dpo and my temp went down from yesterday 98.67 to 98.26 do you think this could be implantation dip. I hope my temp go back up in the morning, I will keep you posted. Krissy68

Krissy, I misunderstood, I thought that's what you were meaning... using the OPK as a pregnancy test.
OPK tests will turn positive if there's a presence of Lh *OR* hCG. I thought you were using it in hopes of detecting hCG, the pregnancy hormone.... and at 9dpo, it sure wasn't detecting LH, sooooo.... :-)
(I'm 12 weeks pregnant and just now found a OPK in my bedroom and took it and it showed positive, lol - so I guess that theory does hold true.)
I think it's looking good for you. You said you're picking up a pregnancy test Friday, so please let us know what you find out! :-) Baby dust!

Also, I didn't know that you could use the OPK as a HPT. How accurate is it? So, please confirm--is the idea behind it that it would detect HcG same as HPK?

Terio - Hi and thanks for the encouragement you explained to me about the use of the opk. I was using the opk as a hpt so you were correct. I just have a bunch of the opk so I thought why not. I will be picking up some hpt tonight and I will let you know. I am thinking about doing one more opk to see. I want to get my hopes up but I'm not real sure if I should. I can really test on 29 Oct so I guess in 5 days I will know for sure or it could be my body way of playing a trick and AF show up like clockwork my temp from yesterday cd 23 was 98.26 and today cd 24 my temp went up some to 98.39 so this is good and I am now 11dpo. My luteual phase have been between 13-16. I will let you know. Krissy68

Terio - Well I just wanted to give you a little update I did another opk and the results are is the test line is getting lighter so I'm not sure. I will keep you updated. Have a nice weekend. Krissy68

Kristin72 & Terio - No update as of yet because I chickened out but I did buy 2 hpt I just haven't tested yet. My cycles are normally 29-30 days so I guess I will find out in a few days I will let you know. Krissy68
