h__lo ladies, I am asking this on behalf of a friend who is not so comuter savy! She is 41 years old and has had 1 child thru IVF. Child is now 7. Over the past 10 years she has had 10 m/c's and 3 attempts at IVF plus IVF for her child she has now. Whe she did IVF it was a natural cycle of IVF. She gets pregnant and it is said the embryo looks great but then after about 3-4 days she beings to bleed and miscarries. She has had a ton of bloodwork done and they its fine??? She has had thyroid checked, FSH levels, etc, etc. She has had a few D and C's as well. She does not have fibroids, tilted uterus etc. She also takes progesterone supps. Any idea? Thanks.

Well this is a long shot but has she been tested for any bacteria in her v____a. (I forget exactly what it is called but my girlfriend just tested pos for a certain bacteria which was done through a simple blood test. Or she could have candida? which is high yeast...it makes for a toxic environment for a developing embryo. OR have you ever heard of hydrops fetalis? Honestly it is such a longshot trying to figure out our problems. I feel for her. She must be very determined. I hope she gets the help and support she needs. Keep us updated.
