KLM - did you have any blood work? I know when I was pg at 35 (had the baby at 36) and when I had my first u/s I guess I was about as far along as you and the doctor couldn't see anything but told me not to worry and of course I did because during all this I was bleeding like AF and I did this for the first 12 weeks. Everything turned out perfect so the same will happen for you. Stay positive. Krissy68

My first u/s for this pg (I am 36) was done a 5w5d and all they could see was the sac. I am now almost 11 weeks and recently had another u/s that showed a very happy and healthy baby. Try not to worry... if your dates are off even a bit, it could be too soon. As Krissy mentioned, just make sure your blood work is ok. Are your HCG levels rising normally?

Hi, Thanks for your replies and I'm not sure if my HCG levels are rising normally as I've only had blood work done once. I just had an emergency ultrasound and said I was 6wks and 1 day and the yolk sac is just starting to develop but my OB thinks though I will probably miscarry within the week because of not much growth so I'll have to wait until Monday when I have another ultrasound to determine what to do next. If he doesn't see any growth a D&C will be probably ordered. Thanks for all posts!

You should order another beta HCG. You are still very early so I think your doc should give it another week or two before they go ahead with anything. That said, I went at 5w3 days for my first ultrasound and nothing was seen I went back at 6w 5d and a fetal pole and small embryo was seen with no hb. I returned at 7w5d. The embryo grew to 3mm but there was still no heart beat detected and the embryo was measuring small for it's dates. I went back for one more ultrasound and the embryo did not grow again. I was given misoprostol to terminate the pregnancy..but then 21 days later had to have a D&C. I fell pregnant in nov and mc again and I am now almost 5w pregnant currently. I have yet to have my first ultrasound. I am hoping things are progressing well. Anyway, I truly wish you all the best!!

KLM - I agree with Kristin have your doctor order another blood test and try and get a u/s as well. Keeping my finger cross for a good outcome. I will be praying that Monday you have some good news. Here is a little update on me. I am currently cd 12 and for this cycle I took the soy isoflavans 200mg each pill was 40mg so I took 5 pills at once. I took this on cd 4-8 this is suppose to be the natural form of clomid we shall see. I also started back taking prenatal vitiams I started this on cd 4 and will continue through the cycle. I started bding already cd 7-10 from cd 7-9 my cm was real dry and it was a little painful (sorry tmi) then on cd 9 in the afternoon it starting turning white and thick and also on cd 10 I started using my opk test strip and taking robintussin. My temp had been down. Yesterday on cd 11 we didn't bd but my cm change again to white and watery. Now today cd 12 my temp went from 97.49 (cd 11) to 98.10, my cm is watery and my cp is high, open, and soft. we did bd this morning. I haven't taken my opk yet cause I have been taking it in the afternoon around 3:30 so I will report back to what it is. I hope everyone have a good weekend and I will talk to you all soon.
