Hey ladies, haven't checked in lately. I had my sugar test last week and I got a call saying it was a bit high so now I have to go back in for the bigger test.... I'm hoping that the high result had something to do with the pb&j sandwhich that I had just finished eating when they called my name in the waiting room. I honestly didn't think they'd be doing that test on me that day. So, now I'm completely worried that I have gestational diabetes. I'm not overweight, eat "normal"... great sometimes, and well, really tastey other times... geez. I'm going sometime this week. don't know exactly when yet. ; (

micsmms3 - I will keep you in my prayes. I will also be keeping my fingers cross for you as well I hope the next test show that you don't have gestational diabetes. Let us know. Try not to worry I know that is easier said then done. Krissy68

clindholm - September 15

micsmms- it was definately the sandwish. You aren't supposed to eat before the test (I think like 8 hours or so). I'm surprised your doctor did not let you know. Krissy- how are you girl?

Krissy68 - September 15

clindholm - I am hanging in here how about you how are you feeling? I am on cd 14 and I got my bfp on the opk on cd 12 & 13 I will be testing again today to see. I have been bding and it has been really relaxing since I am not stressing. I didn't even tell him it was that time. I will keep you updated. Rub your belly for me. Krissy68

Hi everyone! This is my first pregnancy and I am just starting my 19th week. I have felt my baby move from time to time since about 15-16 weeks. During weeks 15 & 16 I felt movement about twice. I am feeling movement a bit more frequently now, but sometimes more on some days than hardly any at all on others. Is this normal?

clindholm - September 16

Hey Krissy- glad to hear your doing well and not stressing. Sometimes it works to take a "break" from ttc (still bd on O) b/c it just stops the stress. Rubbing my belly and hoping for your bfp! Hi dogmom- My doctor told me that the baby's movement does not become consistant until 28 weeks at which time you should feel it every day. I guess it depends on the baby's size and location of the placenta before 28 weeks as to how often you will feel it. Colleen

Thanks for your answer Colleen. People tell me that eventually I will be feeling this baby so much and it may even wake me up at night. Krissy....when we decided to try getting pregnant I was a bit nervous. Almost everything I read claimed it was difficult to conceive over age 35 (I am 37). So because of that information I went to see a fertility specialist. The doctor did an exam and told me that everything was normal but he still wanted me to go through several tests and chart my temperature everyday. I spent days stressing about taking time off of work for these tests. I ended up throwing out the charts and cancelled the test appointments. The next month I went to the calendar and counted the days to pinpoint my fertility window so I would know when to "get busy". I picked a day in the middle of my 3 day fertility window and planned my attack. My fiance' and I spent the day together doing everything he wanted to do (he should have known I was up to something) and I got what I wanted that evening......3 weeks later I found out my plan of attack worked. Try to relax and have fun with your project and best of luck.

Krissy68 - September 16

dogmom - I am so glad the baby is moving alot more. I like your plan of attack. I know when I got pg with the last baby I was 35 getting ready to be 36. I am really relaxing I don't use all of them opk test like I use to I use to start testing on cd 10 and test 2 times a day I would test like anywhere from 7 to 15 days and I know that was just way too much so for the last 3 cycles I started testing on cd 11 or 12 and I test once a day normally when I get home from work and as soon as the first neg show up I stop. My doctor want me to take the hpt on cd 27 & 28 but I think I will wait I should get AF I think around the 1st cause this cycle I started AF on Sep 2 and I guess my cycle are now 29-30 days and the lutal phase haven't really figured that out yet is either 14 or 15 days. I will keep you updated I don't think we will be bding today but then again I might just change my mind. I normally bd when I get off of my night job and that work out best cause no interuption or sometime we tried this week to get one in before I had to go to my night job but the little rug rats must have know we were up to something cause they kep knocking on the door I couldn't do anything but laugh but he didn't see the humor in it after the 3rd time. How are you feeling? Rub your belly for me. clindholm - How are you feeling and thank you for rubing your belly for me. I think i did hit my o date we have bd on the following days cd 6-7, 9, 11-15 and I got a bfp on the opk test on cd 12&13 and when I tested on cd 14 it was Neg so I guess in a few more days I will be in the 2ww and I have to start taking the progesterone gel but I am wondering if I should or just wait to see if I get pg what you think. I have a few to start me with the prescription is $50 and I have to do one a day starting on cd 17 until either I get a bfp or start AF. I need some advice. I don't want to go crazy and start stressing. As of today I am on cd 15 and my temp are 98.00 it went up from yesterday 97.93. I will keep you all updated. Krissy68

Thanks for your feedback Krissy & Cind- on the sugar test... I'm taking the big test Friday- and well, no, they didn't tell me that I was going to have that 1st sugar test when they did it. In hindsight, I'm very irritated about that!!!! I wish they'd just take the initial test over again, and let me fast for 8 hours before like everyone else does! Now I have to eat the extra serving of a list of acceptable things for each meal- which actually is overwhelming to me as I don't eat 3 structured meals a day. I eat one larger meal, and a bunch of tiny ones-- trying to pull all the nutrients in as I go. So I'm trying to "eat" as they tell me but I'm kind of at a loss as eating three larger meals isn't normal to me. They'll probably have me come in for a 2nd three hour long blood test after Friday's test. Sorry to complain, I do that ovb... Krissy, good luck!

Krissy68 - September 18

micsmms3 - you can complain as much as you want and when you want. you will do okay just take a book and hopefully it will go fast. Rub your belly and I will give you a update on me as of today cd 17/4dpo and I started the progesterone gel. I can test on Sep 29 I will let you know. Krissy68

I am 20 weeks along, getting bigger by the day and boy am I hungry!!!!! I have not been hungry like this since my first trimester. Now the hunger wakes me up in the middle of the night!!! This is my first pregnancy and it is nothing like I expected. I am a health and exercise nut and all these years I thought women used pregnancy as an excuse to over eat. I' m sorry for ever thinking such a thing. Salads, fruit???? HA!! Bring on the pizza!!!!

Krissy68 - September 23

dogmom - that is too funny, this is the time you can eat what you want when you want and not feel guilty. Krissy68
