You should rub her feet and clean the house. She'll like that, mine does.

I admire you for asking and being interested in your wife and the pregnancy. Most posts here involving men are those who are uninterested, or have left the scene. The best way to help your wife is to keep the lines of communication open. Talk to her about what she needs. She knows this better than anyone. Try to be as involved as possible in the pregnancy. Go to the "important" doc appointments with her, read up on what her and the baby are going through in the different stages so you can talk with her about it. If she asks you to do something, don't make her feel bad about asking by getting an att_tude over it. As for me, I really appreciate help with the routine chores. It's getting difficult to bend over the washing machine to get clothes out, and to stretch over the cabinet to put dishes up. It's not comfortable to bend or get on the floor to wash the tub. Small things like this really make a difference when someone steps in and helps :) Be patient with her mood swings, or her sheer exhaustion. Most of all, let her know how you are feeling about all of this.. talk to her, pick out baby clothes and things with her...it means a lot to a woman to know she has a partner who is tuned in :)
