i just turned 40 a few weeks ago. my boyfriend is 45, we want to start a family. should we keep continue trying. this is all new to me, i finally found my true love after searching for years. having a baby would make my life seem so complete

Hi Brendak! Welcome to the board. I'm 41 and TTC and I know now how much of a differerence 1 year can make at our age. Its fantastic that you have met someone special that you want to start a family. i agree, it would make your family complete. My advice would be continue doing what your doing, but also make an appointment with your RE to get your horomones etc checked and so he/she can also monitor your progress. Time is of an essence so the sooner you get started the better. Keep us up to date wnith your progress - we'd love to hear from you. Baby dust to you.

BrendaK - Welcome to the group. I am 40 and my dh is 42 we have kids from previous relationships but we are trying to have one together. I would make an appointment to see your gyn and go from there. Let us know and keep trying. Krissy68
