I'm 36 also and I have three children already. I am nervous too because this is weird for me to be starting ALL over again. My youngest is 7. But there are risks with any age. There are women in the 40s and 50s having kids so don't worry too much. Just keep your appointments and you'll be fine.

I am 36 as well, soon to be 37. My due date is Sept 27th. Don't worry everything will be fine with both you and the baby. I had the same worries. I had two previous pregnancies in my lifetime. My daughter is 18 and my son 12 - so I know what you mean by it being a long time since you were pregnant.
Medical tech is so advanced now that many women are having children later in life. I have found that the only difference for me this time around is that I have had to take it a little easier. Don't worry - you'll be holding your baby soon.

You guys are young. I'm 42 and I can tell you, you probably have nothing to worry about. This was my first child and we are handling it fine. It is very exciting actually, and you will be more ready than ever since you have alot more experince and you know yourselves more than when you 1st had your babies. You'll see, mark my word! :) One word of note: keep in close contact with your Dr. to know what's going on and you will feel you have more control over your pregnancy.

Im almost 37 two kids 17 and 15
Im now 18 weeks with no 3 .
We are delighted but really scared we did well with the first two ,can we do it again?Do we have the energy?
Most of all how my body is coping with this.
All that i can do is appreciate every minute that went far to fast with the other two .
Im sure babies at this stage in life will keep us young and give us a different form of bonding with our older children.Good luck im sure it will all come flowing back when you see the new baby.

Thank Goodness for this site! I am turning 36 next month, have a 9 and 11 year old and am 8 weeks pregnant. I know how you feel Deb, there are days that I am so depressed. It is nice to know I am not the only one.

I'm 37 and expecting #3. I have a 6 and 4 yr. old. So, although I don't feel like I'm totally starting over, as do those of you with teenagers, this baby was a big surprise. I do feel "old", but I'm in reasonably good shape and feel pretty good. I have 6 weeks left!! You can all do it. Take care of yourselves, listen to your body, take your vitamins and enjoy your pregnancy. Good luck!
