Hi jesslea- I don't know a thing about this, but the forum t_tled "Problems Getting Pregnant" has quite a few ladies that had TR surgery and are/were ttc. If you don't get many answers here, try reposting on that forum and good luck!!!

hi Jesslea i hope you surgery went well....I have had a reversal it was in March of this year and I was back at work in 2 weeks (it would have been sooner but I had to be cut open my old c-sec scar because he couldnt do it laproscopic......I have not been able to get pregnant yet but I just found out today why........my thyroid is our of wack so I now have pills for that and he also gave me Clomid too to take after next AF (period) so I will be checking back in on how you are doing take care

Hi Jesslea I was 35 when I had a reversal. I had tubal ligation at 24. I was up and about quickly, not smoking and eating plenty of raw foods. I had one menstrual period a week after the reversal and became pregnant before the next one. Not recommended due to risk of eptopic, but daughter was born big and healthy nine months later. I have another daughter born three years later, with trisomy 21. Am pregnant with fifth child at 41, having recently married after the relationship I untied for failed miserably :) The best of everything to you in your adventure!

Hi ladies, sorry it took me some time to reply, we had problems with our computer. Anyhow I had my tubal on Aug 22, thats 3 weeks now, I am getting along ok, still a little sore, but we already ttc because i had my period right after the surgery. So I am waiting now. Best of luck to you all!

Hello Jesslea! Good luck ttc after your reversal. I just had my tubal reversal in April. We actively started ttc in July, and I just got my bfp yesterday. Start taking your vitamins ( you probably already have, lol! ) take good care of yourself, and I'm sure you will get your bfp real soon! Lots of love and babydust to you!!-Tracy

Hey girls, hope everyone is well. punkin01, how are you doing this month? ishtar how are you feeling, exciting news. No luck for me yet AF is on the way. I saw the doc today he says i have healed well and keep trying. He said i can call him next month to have a dye test if I want, but he thinks everything is ok and I should call him in a 6 months if i don't get preg. I did mention I get spotting for up to a week before AF really shows and he said something about progesterone. Have any of you had this tested?

Jesslea I am fine ....glad you are healing well.....They dye sounds like the HSG that I had back in June.....it is Ok I had a little pain nothing that bad.....they say if a tube has "trash" in it the dye will remove it ...they also say most people that have it are pregnant within 3 months......My hormones was messed up I wasnt even ovulating.....Dr started me on thyroid meds and Clomid last month and I think I may have Ovulated this time around .....2 days of + OPK's.......and just a different feeling cant expalin it ......so now I am waiting my 2 weeks until test time.......

Hi, I had my tubal reversal in March, I was off work for 9 wks and I'm now 5wks pregnant. You'll be sent for a dye test about 6wks after your op it is uncomfortable but not too bad. I'd given up hope and my consultant told me the tube could of kinked when it held and now here I am hoping and praying that everything goes ok. I am so glad to see this site. This is so encouraging I pray God bless me with these miracles, im in the process of getting my tubal reversal but im 40 now it's been 11 years since my tubal, I only had clamps on my tubes so im praying I can pull through, but my main question is on the healing process is it really 3 months or two weeks? and what is the danger in having a period?

msthang4u - Good Luck to you I just wanted to let you know that I had my tubes reversed I had the band method and it was done on 2-14-03 and I found out I was pg on 2-14-04 and my daughter was born on 10-7-04. I have been trying to have another one but it's not going so good I think my age is playing a part in that. Krissy68

Hi Krissy68 , I have just logged in today for the first time and was reading on you alls updates.I first want to see how your doing and if you are prego yet?I my self had a tubal done when i was 29 and am now 36 and re-married .Me and my husband want to bring in our own lil joy to our new life.I live here in the Las Vegas valley and was wondering if you could recomaned me to your Doc that has seen you threw with this reversal? If you dont mind. But let me know i do appreacite it .We are wnating to be preg by the end of thsi year 2009. Thank you and God Bless
