i live in Hawaii so me and my bf thought that it would be nice to have a hawaiian name. so for our boy name it is Everett Nohea which means handsome and Everett is my bf's first name and his dads name is Everett so we wanted to keep it in the family. and our girl name is Caylee-Marie Kawena which means Pretty

Well, my dh and I can't agree on anything... I am having a hard time liking anything! :) For a girl I like Olivia Marie (marie will prob mid name no matter what if it's a girl, after my sister) But dh hates olivia. For a boy I want Kash Edward. Edward after my brother. dh likes kash but thinks it needs to be something super meaningful... plllllll! that's what I say middle names are for!

I also love this thread! I'm only 14 weeks now, but dh and I have been discussing names since before we were dating! He has always wanted to name his son Ethan Robert but I've known too many Roberts that I didn't like, so we're going with Ethan David (after my father) if it's a boy, and Emma Kathryn (after my sister) or Dakota Storm if it's a girl. Can't wait to see which name we will get to use!

me and hubby are expecting a girl, i'm 23 weeks pregnant and i've been thinking about girl names since i have found out i was prego at 7 weeks. I just felt i was going to have a girl and no matter how hard i tried, boys names just didn't come to my mind at all. So i think we both agreed on Maya Emily. I like short strong names, so these 2 are perfect for me and will be easy to pronounce for my family, since i am lithuanian and my parents were concerned about what crazy names we will come up with. :)

Well... surprise, surprise, my husband came around and we are having a girl so her name is Olivia Marie!! We are so excited!

I am 15 weeks and we aren't going to find out the s_x of the baby...though my husband is protesting alot about that fact. We have our names picked out now. For a boy it will be Jacob Gordon and we would call him Jordie after my Grandpa. His name is Gordon but my husband doesn't want to call a little child Gordon. We also decided to go by the middle name because my husbands name is Jacob. I don't want a Jacob Jr so it was no Jacob or we go by a middle name. For a Girl we like Bethany Joy. I think we are having a boy, but we will see what happens in the end!

I love all of the names that you guys have picked out! Our little girl will be Hannah Joy. I stole it from Jon and Kate plus 8! We liked Hannah and had talked about the middle name Joy... but didn't put the two together until I heard it on that show :-)

I love the name Hannah! Jon and Kate picked really sweet names for all of their children. Our son's name will be Jonas. All of my students keep asking me if it is after the Jonas Brothers. I a__sure them it is not, and naturally the teenage girls sigh in disappointment. I do remind them, however, of the book The Giver, which most of them read in junior high, and then inform them I found the name in that book. I love the name Jonas, as well as the character in that book... also, it's one of the few names on which my husband and I agree. Jonas' middle name will be Clarence, after my husband's deceased grandfather, with whom he was very close. I'll probably only refer to him with his middle name when I am angry with him...haha!

I must be the only one who has no idea what the name will be :(

Hubby and I can't agree on anything :( I am thinking Caroline or Calleigh for a girl, and Graham for a boy. Haven't even pondered the middle name yet. Wow, I am way behind! We are not going to find out the s_x however.

MNMOM- You are not alone in the name choosing! My husband and I can't agree on names. I pick one out and he says, NO WAY! It seems as though every name that I like he has to hate. I am starting to wonder if he is doing it to get to me. We however agree more on a girls name. We both REALLY like the name Clara. I like Clara Rose! We have also talked about Madison. If I could name my daughter anything in the world, I would name her Molly. I just love that name so much. You are so lucky newmommy2b! My husband doesn't really like the name Molly, but is considering it. For a boy he likes Trent. I think it is ok, but it isn't clicking for me. We had thought of Xander or Max in the past. For some reason, I don't think we will be able to really give our child a name until we see their little face for the first time. In a way I think that babies name themselves!

I am 18 weeks and we find out on May 11th what our little one is. We have picked out names, I think they are set in stone. The boy is Colin Joesph and the girl is Chesney Isabella. We can't wait to find out!

Our first boy is Jacob Jeffery. Our second is Jameson Richard. This baby, if a boy will be either Jason or Jeremy. If its a girl, Jessica. J's are a tradition in my husband's family.

I'm on 14 weeks a few more weeks before I officially know the s_x of my baby. But if it's a girl her name will be Londyn Syrenity Jade and if its a boy Micai Shuantae(after his father) Amir. I can't wait to see the s_x of my baby.

If we have a boy his name with be Trent Dieter. Dieter pronounces (Dee-ter) after his dad. If we have a girl her name will be Paige Jessica.
