Classical Music Good For Babies

Linny - May 10

A special Mozart concert reserved for pregnant women and mothers with infants will be held in Los angeles the last week of April. As you may know, research is showing that music, especially by Mozart, can stimulate alpha waves in the brain which promotes feelings of calm. Studies in premature baby units showed that it increased oxygen uptake by the blood and research on unborn babies showed they could recognise tunes played to them in the womb. Piano pieces will include among others the F major and C major sonatas, and the lively finale to the B flat major sonata. Limited seating. Other performances in Long Beach, San Diego and Santa Barbara. Reserve your seat now by sending an email to linnybb@yahoo.com Adults: $20 (Free for kids) Should I go?

this has been proven to be an urban legend. no research backs up this claim. seriously, look up the new research.
