i had very bad hot flashes. very bad, so bad i used the AC during the winter 2 years ago. thats how bad they got.

if your period normally starts in 3 days you can take a test right now or just relax and wait to see if you get your period.

My period is now 3 days late, but the hot flashes have eased up quite a bit. I have taken several hpt but all are negative, could my period be late just because i want this so bad that it is making me stress, or is it more likely that I just produce lower levels of hcg?

Hey, I am 5 wks pregnant and have had hot flashes in the past few days. I thought it strange too and have been searching for something on the web about it. I hope all is going well for you.

I did an IUI last week. I took clomid which made me get hot flashes, but they have continued. I wake up at least three times a night in a sweat. I am really hoping this is a sign that I am pregnant. I still have a 10 days to wait before my doctor syas I should do a hpt. I hope it means you are pregnant- Good luck!

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and i get really bad hot flashes nut they are starting to ease up. The best time to take the pregnancy test is first thing in the mornig. I know when first went to the doctors their test came back neg but the home test didn't. My friend also had 2 test come back neg i believe one was a blood test. it was just to early

I am about 2 1/2 weeks late. Have taken a few HPT...all negative. I get atleast 4 hot flashes a day & night sweats. I am 40 years old and am nervous that it is perimenopause and not pregnancy. I figured I'd wait a few more days, and then go to my gyno for a blood test.

I was wondering the same thing. I have had horrible hot flashes. I got a faint positive on my pregnancy test yesterday and went in for a blood test. Results should be back today. I am supposed to start my period today.

I am not late but have a good chance of being pregnant I am I would and I just can't cool down for nothing even just sitting here is that a sign??

I am also having hot flashes very bad! I also have experienced b___st tenderness.. I am not due to start my period though for another 5 days or so. Would I be getting symptoms this early in it? Help me!

I had hot flashes one month and felt like I was pregnant and I even went to take a blood test but I wasn't. I just found out 3 weeks ago that I am pregnant and I could have sworn that I wasn't this time. You really won't feel any symptoms until after your missed period. Good luck to you!! When you start to feel the symptoms, you will know!!

I sure feel at home here. I am 36 and have had 2 miscarries in the last year. My progesterone level is low but as soon as I can test positive my gyno will give me progesterone pills to take and I should be fine. I had a hot flash today, quezzy stomache and headache. I am 3 days away from testing. Last time I was pregnant I was 2 days late before it came up positive. We are praying that I can test positive and get on the pills before I miscarry again. The only time I have had hot flashes so far is when I was pregnant. Maybe I am?

I just found out last week that I am in the first stages of a miscarriage. It has been very difficult - we do not have any other children and this is our first miscarriage. I go for a D & C on Thursday. My pastor came over yesterday and he has helped me to start to move on. Is there anything more difficult than this? Still having the symptoms...

Hello- I am going through the same thing again. Last time I was pregnant, I have hot flashes also and my pregnancy hormones were low. I did have a miscarriage. I feel pregnant again and am having the hot flashes w/ chills. I took a hpt, but it was negative. I am going to wait a few days and give it a try again if my period does not start.

Hi Rainey, I was told by my gyno that I should never get a D&C unless the bleeding is very severe or has gone on longer than normal. Anytime they go into your uterus without very good cause it can damage your lining. If you are going to miscarry your body knows what to do naturally. Just be careful and ask them if the D&C is really needed. My prayers are with you.

Hi tumby - thanks for the heads up. I have been going to a fertility clinic and they seem to think that since I have not pa__sed it by now that they need to go in and take care of it. I just want to get it over with. It's hard to move on when you are still carrying. I'm thinking of all of you and wish you luck! We are going to try again as soon as we can.
