Hi dear!
Yes, it true that pregnant women will experience hot flushes during pregnancy. In fact, mood swings and hot flashes are the order of the day. Studies show that more than a third of women experience hot flashes and mood swings. Normally when a woman conceives, the level of estrogen drops and it increases the rate of metabolism. This causes a surge in heat, and most women find it necessary to fan themselves.  The most affected parts are normally the neck, the head, the chest, and the legs. They are common in the second and third trimester and may continue coming until when the baby is born. However, in your case, you say that you are experiencing hot flashes in the first trimester? This is unheard of. You have also said that you have tested for pregnancy and the results are negative? Well, I don’t think the hot flashes you are experiencing result from pregnancy.
