Hello Ladies!
It is so motivating to hear from all of you....the positiveness and excitement spills all around!
Phoenix: Hang in there and quite right..time will tell! Just have some faith! Fingers and toes crossed for you!!
Simone': Yeah, I have to agree with Phoenix, this could very well be just the right time for you and hunny!! GOOD LUCK and ENJOY..*big smile*
Love: Its seems like you and I have the same cycles... I also O on round about cd 17 and have a 29 day cycle. I did some calculations, and evidence points in that direction. Im on cd14 at the moment.
Im having a bit of a hard time at the moment with my hubby. To be honest, i dont get it or understand him. He is shutting down completely from me at the moment. He says that im putting too much pressure on him ect but the thing is, i dont even speak to him about the details ect. At most, he will see me reading my book "what to expect before you're expecting"...and thats it. And the odd moment, i will send him a "hint", playfully, suggesting thats its good to go by sending him a cheeky message tucked in his lunchbox. I have deliberately been trying not to put any pressure on him and make our times together special and playful.
What a contradiction this is turning our to be. Im trying to NOT put pressure on him and instead he is shutting down from me. Its so frustrating, and we only in very early months of trying.
And further more, he is the one bragging to all our friends that we are trying and how much he wants us to have a baby and how excited he is.
So, right now, im very confused and dont understand whats going though his mind.
To be honest, ive given up for this month with anything happening.
Sorry to complain so much and seem negative, i just dont know how else to vent this.
Ladies, any advice you can give me on how to eleviate any pressure my husband is feeling or tips what i must do?
Baby dust to all!!

Hi Justina!
I went through the exact same thing with my hubby. He wants a baby so bad, and it was becoming a chore. I was trying to time everything just perfect and he hated it. I think guys are clueless when it comes to the female body. They just think you can have s_x and you will get preggo. Wish it was that easy! It helped that he was gone for three weeks, because it gave me some time to relax and get myself together again. This time around I don't have any expectations since I really haven't thought about it. I mean I think about it all the time, but it's hard when I know he will be leaving for six months. It would be such a blessing if it happened this time:) I was told that anything over a 30 day cycle is not good:( I have to hold on to FAITH though. I think you are doing everything right!!! Just try not to let him know that you are timing evertything, or that you are ovulating. The less he knows the better:) We are all here for you!!!!

Hey Justinaclaire!
Men are such funny creatures!! I'm sorry, I'm running out the door, but saw your post and had to reply;
It seems a man can want a baby but when the time comes to try and it starts to become a reality, he all of a sudden thinks about all the stuff he doesn't think he will be able to do and getting old, etc.
gotta go; talk more later!

Aprilw, I understand exactly where you are coming from. my dh and i have been trying after coming off bcp in november. No luck at all so far. I'm 24 and he will be 23 on tuesday. He has child already, but this would be my first one... but we BOTH are very enthusiastic about an addition to the family. my step daughter really wants a sister and has been asking us for one... she already has 2 little brothers with her mom.

Hello all! awesome to have read all your hopes. I'm not alone! Well, here's my story.
Hubby and I have been ttc for 7 months now, with no luck. For the first time since I stopped bcp at end of november, I noticed some obvious ewcm on the 3rd, which was day 13 of my cycle. therefore we bd'ed on the 3, 4, 5 this month, crossing our fingers the whole time. This has been the worst 2ww yet! last week from monday till yesterday, my nipples were very sore and tender, i've had little to no cm since the end of my fertile time (i'm guessing that's what it was).
Last week is the really odd thing... I had two hpt bfp dreams, one on tuesday, the other on thursday... my mom had a dream that I was preggo that same tuesday, and my sister in law had a similar dream on wednesday or thursday... all that same week! That (i calculated) is the same week that the zygote would be headed on down to the uterus getting ready to implant.
I've been very excited today because yesterday, I had some very light pink spotting yesterday, but nothing today, and AF isn't supposed to show until thursday or friday ( my cycles vary from 26-28 days) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is it!! Good luck when the time comes to start the 2ww all over again, to all!
baby dust to you, apriw!!

Hey everyone!
pika, Welcome to the group and it sounds like you are well on the way. Implantation spotting is actually pretty rare, but when it does happen, it's a good thing. Every TWW I check every time I go to the bathroom hoping to see that bit of pink. I've never had it with any of my pregnancies that I know of, so I'm not really counting on it, but I'd LOVE to see it!
Not really sure what to think here. I had to get a new thermometer on the day I was expecting to see the temp spike, but didn't get it. In fact, my temp was WAY low, like 96.3. I kinda think that because I had to get a different thermometer, the readings are somehow wrong. I've added one degree every day since then, and my chart now looks pretty similar to last months chart. I'm going to keep adding a degree for this cycle, and then start right on the next cycle.
I also have a really strange pain today. It's almost like an O pain, but it's on the right side. I never feel it when I O on the right side, only the left. It's been here all day, but at times gets pretty intense. No clue what it is.
Other than that pain, I have the same s/s that I had last month, so now I know they are the norm. I'm not really expecting much this month though. Not sure why I feel this way, I just don't think this month is my month.
Take care everyone, and lots of baby dust ********

Good morning ladies!
Love: So true...men do think that. *smile*..its so frustrating...but having said that, i noticed my husband making extra effort this past weekend. Go figure!
Welcome to Pika and April!
Pika: Yup, your position right now sounds very promising, holding thumbs for you and your hubby!
Phoenix: Hmm, also not too sure what that pain could be..but keep doc_menting and see what happens next month. Last month i had a very unusual pain on my left side, i say unusal because i never get any pain what so ever. But it only lasted for a couple of seconds, maybe a minute. This month, i havent noticed anything yet besides a slight pull on my left a few days ago. Oh well... Best of luck to you!

Hi ladies! I've been reading your thread... My dh and I are actually not really ttc yet... We just had our little girl last july so she is just about 11 months. Pretty sure I O'd either last night or today... bd'd last night w/o protection. My dh decided he's ready for number 2... i am too except I would like to lose some more weight first :) I have lost all the baby weight but was a little overweight to start with last time too. Anyhow, since we bd'd w/o anything around O time I am kinda in the tww this month. Figured I'd come on here and look for company in waiting!
Justina- I read when you were venting about your hubby. :) I think it's sorta common when ttc that the dh at some point feels pressured... but it may also be that he wants to feel like a man in initiating the bding? sounds like he is already out of his little funk but that may be something to think about? :)
Good luck to everyone!

oh Pika, i'm so sorry. Reading your post I thought for sure you would have a bfp!
This month I am not paying attention to any symptoms whatsoever. I read that tender bbs also happens after ovulation and a bunch of other things I would have thought to be pg signs. So no more!! Until I see that bfp I will not believe it or allow myself to get excited. Easier said than done. We'll see how i do :)
Update: on CD 12..opk neg...expecting fertile time within the next couple of days....nervous because dh is on a fishing trip and won't be home until CD 14...if my temp skyrockets before he gets home I will cry....
As I mentioned before, I have not shared any of the ttc drama with my dh. None of it. Not when af comes, not when I thought i might be, and surely not when o time comes and I magically want to bd all the time. We decided to try for one year, and since that moment I have not said one word about it. It's been kind of fun sneaking the opks and bbt chart around the house so he doesn't find it..not that i think he would be angry...i just don't want ttc to be on the forefront of HIS mind...I just want him to enjoy his wife...I'll take care of the worry and disappointment myself...he's a wonderful man.
As of right now, only 11 more cycles to go. If this month is a bust, only 10 more. The things I've done differently this cycle was to add evening primrose to my diet (and I have to say after a week of it, by lips (face) have never been so soft!) I will stop now though because I've been cramping a bit and i heard epo can cause uterine contractions. I've also been taking the cough syrup - the kind with the main ingredient being the G thing- name is too long. As well as pn vitamins.
It's wonderful to hear about all the updates; it's like having favorite sports teams and rooting for everyone to score! No pun intended :)

thank you love. It's easy to say i'm not going to pay attention to symptoms. i said a couple months ago that I was done trying, and I'll just enjoy my hubby as he enjoys his wife, if a baby comes of it, yay!... but it all changed when that ewcm made its grand entrance! I did cry yesterday when I realized it's not going to happen this time, after all that...so did hubby. I've been pretty mopey and disheartened, but it's time to perk back up and start anew for month #8! :) i did read that tender bbs with pregnancy doesn't really happen till 2-3 weeks after missed period. what other things come along with ovulation that you thought may be prego symptoms? I'll bet it's fun sneaking that stuff around, i'll be having some fun with it too, when I get my chart started. I just need a bbt thermometer. good luck on him getting back home in time for your O! I have a few more weeks before I can start back up on that, but until then, we'll have some fun. baby dust to all!

Hey everyone!
Phoenix; how is it going?
Pika; I guess I'm going to find out how hard it is to not get excited!! I read on the internet that slight cramping, bloating, food cravings can all be symptoms of ovulation. Great. You totally have the right att_tude; time to perk back up and get ready for the next cycle!! Have you tried the ov watch? I bought one off the internet but can't use it until next month because you have to start on day 1, 2 or 3 of your cycle. So if it doesn't happen this month, at least i will have a new toy to play with for next month!
Update; cd 13; husband due home tomorrow; but i think it will be too late. I had a pos opk today and wet cm. not ewcm, sticky, but wet. Sorry if tmi. Does anyone think it's possible I may o in a day or so instead of right now? I guess i will find out tomorrow when i take my temp. It was still below the cover line today. I've had the exact same temp 3 days in a row.
I also have to get rid of my 2 beloved cats who are 7 years old due to my horrible allergies. I've spent my whole life without allergies and 2 years ago developed some doozies. I just can't take the symptoms anymore. And i've been trying not to take any antihistimines because i've read they can dry up cm as well as your sinuses. I'm very depressed about that.
Hope everyone is well; baby dust!!

Hey Everyone!
I'm on DPO 7, I think. I too am really trying hard not to symptom spot or think about every little thing. I guess it's easier for me though this month, I just don't "feel it." My temps have been so strange this month, and I don't know if it's me, or if having to get a new thermometer in the middle of my cycle has something to do with it. I'm going to try temping v____ally instead of orally. I've read that you actually get much better temps that way. It sounds pretty gross to me, but if it works, then I think I can handle it. So I'm just taking things day by day. I should get my little visit from AF around the 22nd or the 23rd, so we will see. I doubt I'll even POAS this month, that's how much I'm just not feeling it. The only thing I did notice, which is kinda strange, cuz I've never noticed it before is that the veins in my b___bs have gotten really dark. They look bigger or something, I don't know. I just know I was looking in the mirror brushing my hair after I got out of the shower and I saw all the veins. The girls are really sore too, but they were that way last month around this time, so I guess that's a normal thing for me.
Anyway, alc, Looby, theo... you out there? Theo, I'd love to hear progress on you and your little bean!
To all the newcomers, WELCOME! The more the merrier on here.
Love, when my OPK comes out positive, I usually O two days later. I know every woman is different, but there's a little hope for you that you didn't miss it this month. Just attack him when he walks in the door and hope for the best! =0)
Simone, how are things going? When can you test?
april, I was overweight too when I got preggers (all 5 times.) I know they say it can be harder when you're overweight, but it didn't seem to be the case for me. It can take a year for a healthy non overweight woman to get preggers, so three months isn't really all that long trying. I know it seems like forever when you want something so badly, but keep your chin up!
I guess that's all from me tonight. It's late and my eyes are getting sleepy.
