Okay, so my fiance and I have been trying to get pregnant for the last few months. My period was due yesterday. I have had brown discharge since Saturday evening. It is very, very light. Not even a pad in the last two days, less than a panty liner. When I had a bowel movement I strained and some bright red blood came out. Is this strange? Today is the 9 day past ovulation

Menstruation is usually pretty reliably 14 days after ovulation. Are you different? Anyhow, a young couple should be able to get pregnant inside a few months of trying. Signs include unusual fatigue, more peeing, spotting brown and red, weird cramps, b___st and nip changes etc. etc. I think you should wait until next weekend to test, and use first morning pee. GL!
