Hello! Welcome to part 13! May our dreams become reality!

staci - July 16

Hello everyone! Tonia, maybe this is the "13" cherri was talking about? Hope so! Angela, I am excited for you this month! Praying that this dose works for you! I was reading on twoweekwait.com about this girl who didn't respond on her 1st 2 rounds and finally O'd on her 3rd and got pg! So cool! not cool that she had to go through that, and hoping you won't have to, but 150mg did the trick for her. I am so upset that i can't stop surfing the net! some one smack me in the face to make me calm down! Anyway, where are the rest of you ladies? hopefully enjoying your sunday!

Kelly - July 16

Anna, Hey just wanted to say hello. I have not stopped in to chat with you and Kristina in a while. I was reading your posts and sure hoping this month is it for you. I am currently 15 weeks preggers and things are going good. Talk to you soon. Kelly

Becca - July 16

Hi Staci, thanks for starting a new thread for us. Hopefully this will be lucky number 13!!! Kelly, glad to hear you are doing well in your pregnancy. Were you on clomid? How many months, how many mg? I think you could be an inspiration to us all! Staci, what are you surfing the web for today? I've been really tired today. I slept for 2 hours this afternoon. I love my sunday afternoon naps!

Hi Kelly! It's good to hear from you. I'm glad you and Kristina are doing well. I can't believe you guys are in the second trimester already! I'm not too hopeful about this month but I guess I'll know in a couple of days. Staci - thanks for starting a new thread! I think 13 is a lucky number - I was born on the 13th! :)

staci - July 16

Hey all! I'm hoping 13 will be a lucky # for us as well! Boy it's been slow on here today huh? Becca, I was just surfing, looking for anything! Was very bored! Are you going to call your RE tomorrow? Anna are you feeling any better? I hope our luck turns around tomorrow and we both get very high temps! I'm not feeling to much better, but I'll get over it! Well i hope everyone has a good monday! talk to you all tomorrow!

Goodmorning ladies! Staci, I just checked your chart but I guess you are still sleeping...wake up so I can find out your temp;) just teasing..Nothing new here...cd6 and counting. Do any of you have weird dreams on clomid? I had the same dream last night that I did on my first round of clomid...it was a steamy dream but it wasn't with my DH!!! It was with a client! I felt bad when I woke up this morning but I'm over it now...I realize that we have no control over our subconsious mind...and in real like I love my DH sOOOOO much. It is just weird that I had the same dream on the same cd. Well, have a good day ladies...I'll hopefully check back on my lunch break.

soimpatient - July 17

Oh, ya, and Anna, what is your temp today too?

ma2aiden - July 17

hi guys - new to this thread thanks to "soimpatient" responding to a question i posted about clomid... i just started my first try at clomid cd3-5 - today being cd9 - and have a ton of questions.... like, do opk's give you an accurate reading w/ clomid?? have any of you experienced weight gain on clomid? is the constant crampiness i'm having in my lower abd from the clomid?? and have any of you started robitussin 10ml/TID - i have and was wondering if it is helpful (because it tastes nasty ;)) thanks for any input, everything i've been reading has been super helpful......

soimpatient - July 17

Hi ma2aiden...I'm happy you made it over here! The girls are fab! Well, to answer some of your questions...I have heard that it is possible to miss an LH surge on clomid and therefore OPKs don't work 100% of the time but lots of girls have good experiences with them. I didn't ovulate on my first cycle of clomid but I used opks every day and I plan to do the same this cycle. I gained about 7 or 8 pounds on my first cycle of clomid and I haven't been able to lose any yet. I am trying really hard not to gain anymore. I think that I am having the most difficulty accepting the weight gain side effect out of any of the other s/e. As for cramping, I didn't have much but then again, the clomid wasn't working for me last month either. I am going to start using robitussin this month and I think some of the other girls can help you out there. WELCOME!

Hi girls! I'm having some problems with my internet, so I'm only able to post about half as often as I intend to. Stupid Verizon hasn't run the proper lines through our neighborhood yet, so we have a line that is running above ground through out yard. Well, they broke ground on the house next door to ours and they dumped all this dirt and rocks ontop of the line. Then it rained really hard all day on Saturday and the line got burried in 8 inches of water. So, it's kind of spotty, in and out. Anyway, my temp went back up to 97.2 this morning. This is what FF said "Your chart data does not allow ovulation to be pinpointed to within a 24 hour timeframe. Your temperature suggests, however, that ovulation may have occured between CD 13 and CD 19." I'm confident that it was either the night of cd 17 or cd 18 because that falls inline with all my other O signs and what the RE said. So, that makes me 3 dpo today. Yay! Angela, what cd are you on? Oooooo, a steamy dram, huh? I've had that happen before too, and so has my dh. It doesn't really bother either of us because it's just a dream, and you can't really control what goes on while you are sleeping. Ma2Aiden (can I call you Ma?) welcome to the clomid club! Sometimes opks give an accurate reading, but more often they don't when taking clomid. Yes, some people gain weight. I had a lot of crampiness and bloating on clomid. I literally thought my insides were going to explode, but it completely vanished the day after O. Some people get really dry on clomid (me included) so I would reccomend taking robitussin and maybe investing in some preseed just incase you need it. If you are on cd 9 it sounds like you might be Oing soon. Good luck!

ma2aiden - July 17

thanks for all the input.... i'm going to my doctor on cd12 and they'll do a follicle monitoring and depending on that may give me an hcg injection to help pinpoint ovulation... i usually O every month - was a 12d cycle, which after the last m/c changed to anywheres from cd14 - cd16 and being that my dh is a fireman and his schedule is so all over the place - we're hoping to be as precise as possible... and yes, you can call me ma - or just daina - thanks and good luck to you all too.... ;)

AF started this morning. I'm so depressed. My temp was 98.1 and I felt crampy when my alarm went off. Then I went to the bathroom and there she was. I am really getting frustrated with all of this. Staci - I hope it's going better for you.

soimpatient - July 17

Oh Anna, I'm sorry AF showed up. I wish that I had something inspiring to tell you or some words of advice but I know that whatever I say will not help you feel any better. So what is the next step for you? Are you taking another round of clomid? Just remember, we're here for you to vent! Daina, let us know how your monitoring is going. I wish I had follicle monitoring:( Instead I just have to wait until the end of my cycle for my doc to look at my chart and tell me whether or not I've O'd...duh, I can read my own chart! Oh well. Staci, where are you? Becca, thanks for making me feel, not-so-guilty about my dream:) I guess my hormones are going crazy...I feel like a teenager going through puberty!

Anna B. - July 17

I don't know what the next step is. My doctor's appt is tomorrow so I guess we'll discuss it then. DH is suppose to call again to try to get his s/a results today. I think that will determine what we decide to do. My doctor thinks my problem is fixed so I guess now we need to fix dh's problem. I am really feeling hopeless about all of this. I just don't know where to go from here. Any suggestions???

soimpatient - July 17

I wish I had some "good" suggestions but this is all I've got: If you are at work....then GO HOME! Take a sick day and pamper yourself. On your way home buy a bottle of wine and get a pedicure. Then go home watch some daytime television and let yourself be spoiled and mopey. And try to remember that you won't always feel this depressed, it will get a little bit easier and hopefully your doctor can let you know what your options are.

tonia - July 17

Anna, I am so sorry about af..........a little jealous too.........your cycles are so fast! I wish I had as many chances to ttc as you do! I am still on 6dpiui and you are already going into a new month, again, with all the chances to get pregnant and I am still waiting to find out if this one worked!? HOLY cows ; ) I also think Angela is right about pampering yourself as much as you can today! Hi Diana, welcome to our clomid club! I too gained about 7 pounds on clomid. When I take it, i get some headaches, hot flashes and trouble sleeping. I use OPK's and I think they are reliable, but the only way to really KNOW if you ovulate is confirmation on u/s/bloodwork! Hi to everybody! : ) Oh, so Becca, looks like I am only 3 days ahead of you! Staci, how are you today? I was totally thinking that this 13th clomid club could be the lucky #13 that Cheri was talking about too! I mean you girls mean alot to me and I spend a bunch of time here! I am only 6dpiui so we need to keep this one going til I test!
