has anyone had lighter and shorter periods and not turned out pregnant? the last 4 months(since we started ttc) ive had unusual periods but testing negative and just wondered if anyone has any ideas what could be going on? i was hoping it was due to pregnancy but doesnt look like it is! :o(

Kat, i saw ur posts a few times around this forum, and u and i are going through the same thing ! Did u stop ur BCP lately ? i did 5 mths ago,it might be a possibility ! Have u asked for a scan yet ? let me know, ok ? GL!

I've had that...though I've never been on BCP. I'm going to test again in the next few days.

hey coco,no havent been on bc for a couple of years.my doc makes me feel like im bringing it all on myself,he wont do a scan as ive not tested pos! how about you? :o)

OMG ! CAn u honestly tell me that docs actualy study for 7-8 yrs ? They are so pathetic ! The same goes for me, u should see her, almost humoring me ! " maybe it's this ...or maybe it's that ...! Sigh...i'm going to get an ultra__sound.U know even though i have af, i have some crampings,like my belly is stretching.The other day i was lying on my bed and i felt the weirdest feeling,as if some1 was pulling my uterus.Ouch...

I've had two short one/two day periods, and the one before that was two or three I belive (norm is 4 then two spotting days). I am due for af Monday, so we'll see what happens.

coco ive had strange things going on in my stomach too,also my stomach is growing but docs say its bloating but i know what my stomach looks like when its bloated,my bf says its taken a different shape too(so its not just me imagining things! lol!) keep me posted :o)

AH HA !!! U see ! we know something is up ,we're not crazy ! If ur b/f notices changes, there's a chance that something is up ! U know my boss actually asked me if i was pregnant ?The question just came out of nowhere, because we were suppose to talk about business.I was shocked, especially it is not the 1st time.everywhere i go ppl that know me ask me if i am.everytime i think i'm crazy, some1 comes and says R U ? or congrats ! u sure ur not ? i know u u don't look like u've put on weight , u look different! it doesn't help! Have u seen that post where the girl said she found out she was 10 wks and could NOT get a BFP ? it does happen! And my friend told me that her mom discovered she was 4 mths when she saw her belly changing ,until then she had 4 periods.

im trying to hide my stomach as im not sure whats going on,but also my mum and sister agree with me,my sister actually gave me the impression she thought i was mad,until she suddenly noticed my stomach shape/size! im trying to put it out of my head that i am but its so hard!

Kat - Yes I am, and yes I have. Blue veins, tired, cm, back aches, dizzy, headaches, shorter af, tenderness, etc..

Also some flutters and tiny pullings and pressures in my stomach area. And food/hunger changes, sensitive to some smells.... belly is bigger, but haven't gained weight (people keep asking if I've lost weight!)

Yes, I have had lighter/shorter period since m/c in December. Unfortunately, after the lighter/shorter period I had in November I had a m/c. So I don't know what is going on . . .

I too am having most of the symptoms of pregnancy, but with periods and negative hpts, and blood test. I finally demanded an ultra sound. I go in on Monday for an ultra sound. Wish me luck.
