How To Tell My Family I Am Pregnant

Hi! I am 24 yrs old, I have a 2 yr old daughter which i love dearly. I am now 16 weeks pregnant with another guy. which we broke up a month ago. He is willing to take care of the baby.The problem is telling my parents that im pregnant, on my first pregnancy they were insisting that i have an abortion, they were saying things like i will embarass da whole family. I am working and taking care of my baby... I know if i tell them they will say horible things to me like i am useless. Please help.

You do need to tell them, but if they are not going to be supportive then you probably should tell them that you are fine taking care of yourself (especially if the guy sticks around). They will eventually come to terms with the fact that you are having another child even if its not until the baby is born. Thats the way my dad was the first time with me but the second time he was much more accepting, you never know how they will react until you tell them they could react completely differently this time because the have been through this once before. Anyways best of luck to you I hope all goes well when you break the news, you are in my prayers.
