Hello, I am going on 16 weeks and recently left my boyfriend because he couldn't give up a certain calming "cigerette like" drug to be with me and the baby. It hurts that he chose it over me. I know he feels bad but that's not the type of environment I want for my baby. This has been a very bitter-sweet time. I wish I had the type of life you see in the movies with the supportive husband by your side giving birth. I feel very abandoned and lonely.

I'm proud of you for doing the right thing. Don't take is personally, he is an addict. Do you have close friends? In time, you will start to feel better....and you won't be lonely for long you will have a wonderful baby!! Congrat on doing the right thing even tought it was the hardest thing. I'm sorry you feel lonely.
