Looking For Others In My Situation

I am so glad I stumbled upon this website. I am 20 weeks pregnant and have decided as of today to leave my boyfriend (who I have caught in many lies recently involving other women). The first time we had intercourse I became pregnant and he begged me to keep the baby. So I did and I moved into his house. Things have been rocky lately and its putting a lot of stress on me and my baby. I have decided to leave him for the better of my baby even though I love him very much and am so scared to be alone. I am worried that when my baby is born he is going to try to take her (he is a police officer so he knows a lot of judges that would help him) and Arizona Custody Laws do not prefer the mother over the father like a lot of states. I have no one who understands and I feel so alone and so helpless.

Hey, i think it is a wise of you to leave him. you dont need that stress, just like you said. i think your being very strong in what your doing. There was some talk about my ex trying to take my baby. So i know this can be scary, but the best thing for you to do is to be prepared for anything. I think you should get a lawyer to help you out. Just because he's a police officer doesn't give him right to take your baby. Be strong, I hope this helped you in some way.
