Does Having The Hymen Still Intact Make A Difference

I have been really wondering lately if the hymen really does actually help protect a woman from pregnancy, at least a little bit, when it comes to the issue of pre-jaculate pregnancy. I once read a respected woman's response to this issue saying "...if your hymen is still intact then your fine guaranteed so no worries." I wasn't so sure about it since it was the first time I heard that, so I'd like to hear some other people's opinions and/or experiences about pre-jaculatory pregnancies.

well girls can stil have periods and be a virgin so if the blood can get out of the uterus then i dont see why the sperm cant get in to the uturus. just a thought............

I thought about that and I really kind of agree, though I was curious to know if the hymen actually does help, even in the slightest, to block out some portion of the sperm.

it may giveyou less chance as if your a virgin you are not actually having full on s_x but there is still a chance that it can still get up there. do u suspect that you are pregnant?

It's not me, but my girlfriend, and we both worry about having a chance that she might be pregnant. I always thought pre-jaculate never contained sperm, that it was only a lubricant, but my girlfriend first saw it, she became worried. But I've heard that there were people doing recent studies to see if pre-jaculate actually does contain sperm. Someone stated "there realy shouldn't be any sperm in pre-jaculate unless he doesn't urinate to flush it out, since sperm is made in the testes and pre-jaculate is made in the prostate, which are totally different things."

Does anybody have some more? I really need some help figuring this one out.

Ture prec_m is indeed a lubricant made in the Cowper's gland, and it contains no sperm. However, extended foreplay and "held back" ejaculation can cause sperm to get to the urethra, and of course sperm can be left over from an earlier ejaculation. The hymen will not stop a determined sperm from reaching its destination. Good luck!

i highly doubt you have got her pregnant but do a test just incase she should go on the pill and you should where a condom at all times

Thank you so much Grandpa Viv!

Hey Grandpa Viv, if you're still there, what percent chance do you think my girlfriend would have of being pregnant if there were some sperm leftover in my urethra?

psychopathyman - April 30

Or anybody else. Percentages really help put chances into a perspective...

I'm a__suming that since you say her hymen is intact you two have never had s_x? That along with the fact that you didn't actually ejaculate, that makes the chances VERY slim. I'll just go with a .1% chance. Honestly, with those circ_mstances it would take some VERY VERY poor luck to get pregnant with that situation.

It's not a good idea to go poking around the entrance to the v____a with a p___s that may contain sperm. However, the chance of getting pregnant this way is 1/100th the chance of a full deep shot in prime time, and even then there is only a 30% chance in any encounter. Why don't you brush up on the fertile window. If this was not days 8 thru 16 of a 28 day cycle, the chance of her being fertile was slim indeed. Good luck!
