So here's the story, Grandpa Viv. I had just ended my period on October 30th, and that night around 3-4am, there was penetration for less than a minute, no ejaculation but was still worried about precum. So 12hrs later, I took Plan B, both doses at the same time... didnt throw up nor did I show any side effects. Four days later, and during the time my ovulation window would have started, I started bleeding, enough to make it seem like it was my period, however it only lasted four days and my normal period length would usually last 5-6 days. Two weeks later (No. 18th), I started ovulating. It is now November 30th and my expected period has been a week late, but I have been showing signs of menstration such as minor cramps and breast tenderness. I was just wondering if the four day bleeding was my period or when I would get my next period. Please shed some light. Thank you.

However, four days later, and during the time my ovulation window would have started, I started bleeding, enough to make it seem like it was my period. That lasted four days, whereas my regular period lasts 5-6 days. Two weeks later(Nov 18th), I started ovulating and if I count 12days from there, I would get my period on Nov 30th (today). This means that my expected period from when it finished on the 30th should have came Nov 23rd, so I am exactly a week late. I was just wondering if the four day bleed was my period for the month or not, and what the chances are of pregnancy. Thank you. 

How do you know you ovulated Nov 18th - from a period tracker or from signs? You had a Plan B bleed on November 5th which has likely reset your cycle. Add 28 days to get December 3rd so you are not late yet by that count. Your sex was not in the fertile window, there was no ejaculation, you took PlanB and have no early pregnancy signs. Forget the chance of pregnancy. The worry will mess up your cycle even more. Go buy your own condoms and vaginal spermicide and insist on both being used consistently.

I showed signs of ovulation. What should I do if I get my period late? 

Ann, you can run a home pregnancy test any time you want - they are not expensive. There's no point in running them closer than once a week. There's little point in running one if you have no early pregnancy signs which you would have by now if pregnant from Oct 30 sex. Relax, it's going to work out just fine.

Please help me out.  I missed my period and don't know if I'm pregnant or I am messed up because of plan B

Short version:

- Last period was the 2ed 

- S_x the 8th

- Plan B the 9th

- S_x the 14th (did not take plan B)

- Bleeding for 2 maybe 3 days starting the 15th  (much lighter then normal but enough to wear a pad. And shorter then normal period.) 

-2ed expected period 

-5th and 8th Negative at home  pregnancy test

STILL NO PERIOD. I am very worried and can't tell my mom. How long should I wait before consulting with my doctor

I usually have a 28 to 30 day cycle. I got my last period on the 2ed of last month and it's now the 10th and i still have not gotten it.

I had sex the night of the 7th/ morning of the 8th because it was at 2 am. He did pull out but I was nervous so took plan B (I know this was likely not necessary because of the point in my Cycle and also using withdrawal but I was scared)

The next weekend (night of the 14th/ morning of the 15th because it was 2am) one thing lead to another and we started to have unprotected sex but realized it was a bad idea and stoped after less then 5 seconds. (This was dumb and at a bad time in my cycle to make a stupid choice I know )

I took a test two days ago (23 days after sex) and it was negative (first response digital early detection and a cvs dye test ) they were both negative (digital said "no" and not even a faint line for dye) 

Should I test again or consult my doctor for a blood test ? Could plan b be messing With my cycle. 

I'm very lost and scared - please don't mock or confidend me and my choices. I know I was dumb and deeply regret it and after this scare will not do it again

Hi Wishing, Plan B does throw off your cycle. Taken that early it usually promotes an early bleed which usually resets your cycle. I would not even count myself as late until the 13th, and maybe later. You have no early pregnancy signs other than a missing period. It's very unlikely you are pregnant.

What's with your mom leaving you Saturday overnight with your boyfriend and no good contraception? Is she hoping you will get pregnant? Tell her you are thinking of becoming sexually active and need an IUD.

My period was dec 10-16. I had sex and he came inside me twice. I took plan b the next day in the afternoon. Now its jan 10 and im 4 days late and im cramping and my breast are tender. Can i possibly be pregnant or is there a delay?

When did you have sex and are you on a 28 day cycle? Plan B often delays the next menstruation. You should run a home pregnancy test if you get to be  more than 2 weeks late.

Hmm. Cycle day 12 is right close to ovulation. Plan B is not 100% effective. Maybe you should run a home test so you can quit worrying (or not). Please come back and tell the outcome. Thanks

I had my period dec 19-25 then on the 29th me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex and he pulled out but I took plan b an hour later. then Jan 1-2 I had very heavy bleeding. I was supposed to start my period Jan 18 and then took a pregnancy test 19th and it was negative. when should I expect my period and is it delayed because of plan b?

Plan B taken in the first half of the cycle can cause a bleed which resets your cycle. Your next period may not be until the end of the month. A pregnancy test pretty soon should tell you that your plan worked.

My cycle usually comes around the 10th I had sex on the 22nd and the condom broke I took a plan b pill a hour or two later on the 22nd now it's the 12th and my cycle isn't here my b::bs are swollen and I get very mild cramps  every now and then I took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it came back negative should I be worried
