When you say to count 14 days is that from the start or end of my period. today is 14 days from the start of my period and we had unprotected s_x all weekend long should I have my bf get me the plan B pill so i don't get pregnant?

Amy, you need PlanB tonight. For a 28 day cycle ovulation is likely 14 days after your period begins. For other cycles it is more accurate to count 14 days back from your next period start. Sperm can last 5 days inside the female, but once ovulation occurs the egg is only good for one day. There are recognizable signs of ovulation including fertile mucus, high libido, sometimes a slight cramp one side or the other, and cervix high and open. Good luck - the chance from well timed s_x is only 30% in any given month.
