Anyone Have PUPPP

On the belly below my belly button I have stretch marks- just a few but they are huge- like fingers! When I woke up the other day, I had a rash on the stretched areas. I looked it up online and it is some sort of itchy (yes!) pregnancy plaque that will go away after delivery. Just wondering if anyone else has this and what you do to relieve the itchiness, or have you been able to make it go away?

yes i had it and it was horrible it started on my stomach and went to my thighs, legs, arms and b___t. It would litterally wake me up out of a dead sleep and I would be itching like crazy. I felt like I wanted to sc___p all my skin off it got so bad. The only thing that helped me was Grandpas Pine tar soap. It smells HORRIBLE but after 3 days of using mine was all gone. Good Luck!!

i have severe itching on my legs and a rash too, im currently having tests done on my liver! i think my symtoms sound like thoses of puppps but they havnt mebtioned anything about it! i also wake up in the middle of night scratching! i put moisteriser with vit E in it as it sooths it a little.......also if the itching is where the stretch marks are it could be the stretching thats causing it, speak to your midwife or doctor about it

The rash is directly on my stretch marks- not on my normal skin. I've had the stretch marks for about 2 months and the rash for 2 days. I just saw the doctor and showed her, she said it looks like the pregnancy rash and not much I can do about it, except drink lots of water and use lots of moisturizer. She said stay away from the steroid creams like benadryl or cortizone because they can actually thin out the stretch marks and make them worse. She said the benadryl pill should relieve the itching and won't worsen the stretch marks. I just bought the Tummy B___ter, so hopefully that will help some. And I am going to definately look for Grandpa's Pine tar soap! Looking online, I saw that it has rave reviews for curing the rash- Thank you Steph23fah!

Have you ever hear of the online radio station pregtastic? A girl on the show talks about her PUPPs. pregtastic dot com. The girl who had its name is stacey. She talks about it under her birthing story and other segments before that one. I cant remember which ones
