Ok ladies - I have my nursery mostly set up and now I'm working on the daily use stuff like diapers. So I'm curious, those who already have kids - what brand of diapers do you prefer? Pampers, Huggies...or what other brand is best? Thanks!

I really like the pampers for the newborn stage. Then after that I use both huggies and pampers.

Hey BB...We really like Pampers as well. The one's we bought have a little yellow stripe that goes down the middle of the outside of the diaper and if the diaper is wet the stripe turns green. So, that helps with some of the guessing as to if she needs changing or not. So, how's the pregnancy going???? Hope all is well? How is BF doing? I sure do hope he comes around. Take care sweetie, you're almost done!

Thans guys! Toni - things are going well with me. Still plugging along lol. I'll be 35 weeks in a few days...so the count down continues! As for the ex BF - he's attempting to right a few wrongs...but I'm not convinced that it's a 'permanent change' I think he is scared he'll look bad to his family more than anything. Time will tell I guess! So how are things with you?

Hey I responded in "our" thread....LOL..."our thread"!
And that totally sucks about the "EX BF" UGH! What an a__s! He's more worried about appearances then his own little one on the way or you. Well, that may change when she comes along because then it will all be more real for him. Maybe once he sees her precious little face then he'll come around for her rather than for what his family thinks.
Okay...I'll see ya around "our thread"...

This is my first child but I did help a lot (really a WHOLE lot) with my niece because her parents weren't able to take care of her when she was born. Anyways, honestly I used what I could afford. I've never really had any brand, even the cheapest, just fall apart after she wet it. The more expensive ones are better for the really messy diapers but my niece hardly ever had really messy poos anyways. I'm even considering trying cloth diapers after he's a lil older. Have you had your baby shower yet? I got TONS of diapers at my baby shower, so you may want to hold off and see what you get there before you buy a whole lot of them. Good luck!

I have a little boy who is almost 3 months old and have tried several different kinds... the best that I have found so far is the Pampers Swaddlers, they are nice and soft and he doesnt leak out the side or the back of them...only problem is that they only make swaddlers up to size 2-3 and thats it...so not sure what I will switch to in a month or two when he outgrows them.

I use pampers for the beginning 3 or 4 months. After that I have been using Luvs. Luvs are just as good and way cheaper...
