Well I had my beautiful son on the 18th of December and my doctor refused to give me a prescription for birth controll pills. Well me and my hubby decided to have s_x because I'm not bleeding anymore and i'm not sore at all and it has been a couple months. Well the stupid condom broke. This happened about 4 days ago. Is it possible to get pregnant this soon? I'm a little over three weeks postpartum.

YES, IT'S POSSIBLE! Usually they don't give you the option of birth control pills until your 6-8 week post partum check. I don't know if there is a medical reason for it, or if they just expect you won't have s_x until you are cleared. What was his reason for not prescribing them?

The doctor didn't give me a reason. They always seem so busy and don't really give you anytime to ask questions. This was the first time I delivered at this hospital. I delivered at a different one with my first two. I was able to get birth controll with my other two. I might ask the doctor to test if I don't get my period by my appointment on the 26th.

Usually they tell you to wait for s_x till at least 4 weeks pp or your visit, but if you asked for bc they should have given it to you,At my hospital they offer it after you deliver, its your choice tho,im having my tubes tied after this abby.

We would like one more and then i'm getting my tubes tied. I would like them to be about 2 years apart. That's how my other's are. I wasn't to happy about my delivery experience at that hospital.

I am so sorry you had a bad experience at the hospital. You could always call and get a new OB that meets your needs better. When you call to make an appointmet, let the scheduler know about your bad experience with the hospital and the doctor at the other practice. Every practice has morning meetings before seeing patients and she will share what you tell her with the doctor and they will make sure you have a good experience with them.

The one thing that really made me mad was that I kept telling the stupid doctor that the epidural wasn't working and I felf like my stomach was being riped apart and what he told me was that the guy that does the epidural was very busy and would not have time to check on me. The doctor wasn't even an ob doctor. He was just a resident doctor. I am still a little ticked about my experience. This labor last for 13 hours and my first two where 5 hours and 2 hours.

I went to the top rated hospital in my area to have my daughter and had the best doctors you can imagine. My epidural didnt work at all and he laft the building afterwards. I had natural delivery through no choice of my own. So that can happen anywhere.
