Hi,
I am 36 weeks and 5 days pregnant and over the last few days I have been having preiod like pains, needing to go to the toilet more and it is like diahria. Are these early signs of labour? I keep worrying myself. Last week I was having a bit of discharge but seems to not be as much now.
Any advise please. I am a first time Mum and I am getting very nervous now.

Congrats! Don't be nervous. You're within a couple days of being "full term" and the odds of everything being ok with going now are pretty good. Honestly, what you've described does sound like early labor to me. When I went into labor with my kids it always started with (tmi) all day long diarrhea and cramps. You posted this this morning, so hopefully you know one way or the other by now! :) If you're still feeling this and haven't called your doctor yet, do so and see what he/she says. It always made me more nervous to watch the clock when I was laboring, so I used a cool website that timed my contractions for me while I did things around the house or surfed the web. It's contractionmasterDOTcom and you can even print it out later to stick in your baby book! Good luck and hope all goes smoothly for you. Trust your body and work with the contractions and it'll go better. Stay moving and try hard to not let them keep you in bed. The pain is more manageable if you can be walking, rocking, bouncing on a ball, in the tub,...I stayed moving with my second as opposed to listening to nurses and staying in the bed with my first and the difference was incredible!! I was only 2 cm when I got to the hospital with my son and the pain was bad and then I laid in a bed until I had him. With my daughter I had a 14 month old to chase and kept doing things with him and moving around the house and when we got to the hospital I was almost 9 cm! :) I don't suggest cutting it THAT close because your hubby will freak out, but keep moving and cherish that first moment with bubs in your arms!!
