Any May Mommies Mov In Up

Thanks for easing my mind Jessica. I just hope my thoughts and fears are normal. I know that my fiance is the father of my baby but my biggest fear is that the baby will not come out as his. I know that I have said this before and it makes no sense... lol. But that is probably the worst thing that could happen. I am not sure why I think this way but that is one of them. Who knows, I just want to meet my baby girl. I am feeling bigger but I know that there is a lot more to come. Everyone tells me that you get the biggest in the last month. I do not want to see that!! My b___sts have not changed at all, since day one. Kind of odd. But at the same time, okay. They are not even sore. I suppose that will come after the little one arrives. Any baby showers this weekend?

I'm definitely starting to feel more of that late pregnancy exhaustion. Just going grocery shopping yesterday completely wore me out. I got home and collapsed on the couch, crying over nothing and wishing the day was over. Then my husband had to go to work, and of course my girls refused to take their nap, and I was going crazy! Pleeeeeeeease, someone, tell me that I'm not the only one who falls apart like this when I'm tired! :-) Last weekend, I got myself a new toy, which I'm excited about. It was kind of extravagant, but after all, DH is having a good month at work. I bought a camera! I've been wanting one for a long time now. All we have is this crummy one that doesn't take very good pictures. I hate using it so much that I've hardly been taking any pictures for months now. I'd hate to have to use that when the new baby arrives. So now I'm the proud owner of a camera with a 12x optical zoom! It has tons of features that I haven't the slightest idea how to use, but its automatic settings seem to work well. Flaca, welcome to the group! I'm working on my third daughter, too. Jessica, I know what you mean about feeling big. I see my huge belly in the mirror, and wonder how it can possibly get much bigger. I mean, I know I was bigger with my second daughter than my first, but am I going to get even bigger this time? It's worth it, though, and we don't have to put up with it that much longer, right? MIM, I worried more with my first, too. Nothing too overboard, but it seems like no matter how much studying you do, there's always that great unknown. It's not like you can predict what's going to happen with labor and motherhood. Having done the whole birth thing twice now, I feel a little more confident, but like I said, you never know. I try to just leave it to God and do the best I can.

llmommy: thanks for the kind words. I agree. I just want her to be perfect and so far she is!!! We go for our 3D pictures next Friday and I am super excited. Anyone else get these done? Any advice? Regrets, etc? I think it will be pretty cool.

MIM, we just got back from a sono and the tech just flat out asked if we wanted some 3D shots. This is a high risk peri facility, so they have one of these machines in their office, usually for dxg reasons. Anyway, my DH and I looked at each other and were like, "Hell yeah!" The baby is doing fine, but she thought we might like a 3D shot. OMG they are precious!!! We only got the LO's face, but it is priceless. The details of the lips and nose and little face shape are so amazing, so yeah... no regrets!! Wish we had them done for our DD!

That's awesome. I am so looking forward to doing it. Thanks for sharing! I am suprised they just asked you if you wanted them done. You usually have to request it. But I bet the ultrasound technicians like doing them too. I swear, they have the best job! Here's to a wonderful Wednesday!

jessica72 - March 18

Yeah, I was too. I kept thinking is this extra $$? haha, but I think she was in a good St. Patty's day mood and you're right, they probably get tired of the plain old ultrasound. You will love them! Are you getting the video too?

LL, I've always been a sensitive one, but now... WOW. I cried not too long ago because my Hubby wouldn't get me a popsicle. LOL! And I get very whiny when I'm tired too... so you're not the only one! =) Mommyinmay, we got 3D pictures when I was 30 weeks, they're AMAZING! My Hubby started bawling in the room. I go to a high rick facility too Jessica, EVERY week. =( I go today as a matter of fact, I better shower! =D I'll post some pics of them when I get home. You ladies have a great day!

Jackienlucy ~ that is awesome you got them so early. I heard they usually do them around 33 weeks so the baby has more fat on them! I hope she looks like my hubby! He has a great baby face. Are you ladies down to the weekly appointments? My doctor has me coming in every 2 weeks. I hope that that is okay. Every time I do not feel the baby move for an hour or so I get freaked out. I heard that they start sleeping A LOT more now and their kicks and punches are not as frequent. I have noticed that... anyone else? I do love to watch my stomach move though... I just can not wait to see her!

I've noticed my LOL tends to sleep in the morning and is very active in the afternoon and right before I go to bed. Nothing to be alarmed about, there's not a lot of room in there and they are becoming more infant like and develop sleeping patterns. Just take notice when they are more active and count fetal movements at that time.

jessica72 - March 18

Yesterday they told me to count 4 movements in an hour twice a day. Every office says something different, but they said this was just fine, as long as you do feel some movement thru the day. I agree with Missie, they are getting cramped for space in there. Mine is very active after meals and for some reason at 4am! LL, I have been very emotional lately at the funniest things. Of course watching anything baby story related on tv turns me into a crying mess, but ridiculous things like a cardinal singing outside? haha...these hormones are funny things. DH is figuring out when to steer clear of me. :P

mommy in may - March 18

I have not had any of these overwhelming emotions. I kind of wish I could so that I fit in with the rest of you!! This pregnancy has not lead to anything odd. No morning sickness, no cravings, just me getting bigger and of course, more tired. Our bodies are busy!

Missie76 - March 18

I don't have any of those emotional moments either, glad to know I'm not the only one. I had cravings in the first and second trimester, oranges, fruit juice, meat, but now I don't

llmommy - March 19

I've never really noticed any specific cravings. Just as well, I guess. In a further development on the emotional end of things, yesterday was a good day. I took the girls to the park, visited with my brother and sister in law, and had all around ok day. Then DH's car was stolen last night. So today was back to being crummy. But any tearful breakdowns? Emotional outbursts? Nope. I'm taking it all remarkably well. Pregnancy is so crazy sometimes. MIM, I've had a 3d ultrasound done with two of my pregnancies. They're so cool! Those of you that get them done through your doctor's office, lucky you! This pregnancy, the ultrasounds I've gotten from my doctor have been kind of a letdown. Rather hurried, and not a single good picture to show for my trouble. It's a very busy clinic, so I suppose they don't have a lot of time to linger and ooh and ahh.

mommy in may - March 19

llmommy: sorry to hear about your husband's car! Wow! You rarely hear of that happening around here (upstate NY) -- good luck with all the stuff you guys have to deal with now. I am very ready for it to be the weekend. Work is getting really old to me and I would rather just stay and play in the nursery.

jessica72 - March 19

LL, that is a bummer about DH's car. :( Kudos for handling it so well.

JackienLucy0509 - March 20

Good job LL! I would of had a nervous breakdown! =) That doesn't really happen around here either, BUT, my mom's Blazer got broken into maybe 5 or 6 years ago, but all they stole were some old John Denver ca__sette tapes. LOL! Must be some real thugs!!! Its SO hot here in New Mexico, at least it feels like it for me! I ask my Hubby if we can sleep with the window open, he won't let me. =( I'm constantly sweating and fanning myself with whatever I can find! Aren't you all glad we won't be pregnant in the middle of July? Oh! I would die!!! I got a bad contraction yesterday. It started from my back, and moved around to my belly... it was like nothing I've ever felt before! I'm getting nervous about labor. Just fear of the unexpected I suppose! Have a great Friday ladies!
