Unfortunately I'm only 30 weeks and have been getting this for several weeks already and I don't even have many BH contractions. Hopefully it's soon for you Evae!

That's is the mucus plug. I was told to go to the hospital when I experienced the mucus plug followed by the rupture of waters and gave birth 15 hours later. Erica

I am 37 weeks pregnant, have alot of pressure; this morning had a snotty like yellow discharge, is this the mucus plug and will I be going into labor? I have been having sharp pains for the last 3 weeks off and on but nothing to go in for. This is my fourth, the reason I am asking because I had to get induced with my first 3 children, never went natually and really would like this one to come natural?

This thread is 5 years old, but its both the mucous plug and the cervix thinning. It doesnt mean you're going to be going into labor. Ive been losing pieces of my mucous plug since i was 36 weeks and im now 2 days away from 40 weeks.
