I saw your post in the February Mommies thread (was checking to see if Angelmonkey had her little one yet) and I saw that you are having vision problems and upper abdominal pain associated w/ preeclampsia. You need to call your OB asap or head over to L&D or the emergency room-whatever. I am not trying to tell you what to do, but I had preeclampsia in both of my pregnancies and those were the signs that they told me call immediantly with b/c the condition was escalating. Please, please, please don't wait, call your doctor as soon as you read this, it can be very dangerous to you both. I'm not trying to scare you, I just know how bad it can be and how quickly it can get very bad. Colleen

I am calling at 1. My test results should be back by then. For some reason the doc thinks that all the symptoms are unrelated to preeclamsia and just normal pregnancy symptoms. So he ran the PIH tests. Even if they come back normal, I think I am going to hospital todayanyway. I just had some weird discharge- possibly starting to lose my mucus plug.

How high was your blood pressure last time? The thing is that you can begin having seizures at any time, do you have anyone with you to keep an eye on you or bring you in?

My co-workers right now. Then my DH. It was 159/99 2 weeks ago, then 132/92 after 30 minute rest and 148/84 last week. That's when he ordered test.

Well, my results are not in yet. i told nurse and doc about the vision spots. I was told to monitor them, see if they got worse or accompanied by a headache, then I am to call back. Or if there is decrease baby movement I am to call. She wants me to monitor my BP, too, if I can. I guess I can go to pharmacy and check it at one of those big machines. And they will give me a call and let me know where to go/what to do once the test results do come in.
