Come on over ladies! We've already had some exciting birth stories. Just a few of us left to share in the exciting ending to this chapter.

Just thought I'd share this humorous little ditty I found on another birth club board. Some of us probably agree, huh? To: Mr or Miss Baby, To the above tenant in possession of below described premises: I am issuing 17 day notice for EVICTION. You will have 17 days in which you can either gather your belongings and promptly vacate the premises, or wait until the final day. After which, you will be physically removed from the property. You are being evicted due to breech of contract and destruction of property. Expansions only to the FRONT of the house, within reasonable limits, were discussed. Not only have these limits been exceeded, but additions to the back of the house were also made! Remodeling and gutting of the home was never approved, nor was changing the initial layout and base structure. And due to property damage, there are now leaks in both the upper AND lower levels of the home. On top of which, the landlord has received numerous complaints about nightly disturbances. After 17 days from this day that you don't comply with the notice will result in immediate and forceful removal at my discretion. Thank you for your cooperation Love, Mommy

I wish my printer was working so I could print that out. That made my day. :) I hope my hospital has wifi so I can talk to you guys. If not, I'll have to let you know about the little bugger that refuses to come out when I get home. Talk to you guys later

That was awesome! Good luck Shea!

Very cute. I love it... I hope my little one wants to show her cute little face in a week or so. This is getting quite old!! Yes, Jessica that part of the friends episode makes me laugh too. Also the one where she starts yelling at her belly "get out, get out, get out!!!" And everyone else in the room leaves... lol that is how I feel!!! Hope you all have a great weekend. No getting the swine flu!! No one is really freaking out about it here in NY... I guess if no one said anything, we would continue to live our lives as we would, so why stop now? Hang in there girls!

I'm praying for you, Shea! I hope all goes well tomorrow. It's kind of cool that you and some others have a specific day to look forward to; but it must a bit nerve wracking, at the same time. If I actually knew, maybe it'd light a fire under me to get some of this stuff done around here. . . :-)) I am making progress, though, bit by bit. Those of you with back pain and stiffness, I know what you mean! Mine isn't too bad during the day, but at night time it hurts to roll over or move my legs a certain way. I wouldn't mind so much having to get up and pee all the time, if it didn't hurt so much to get up. I wake up so stiff that sometimes I can hardly walk. I don't remember it being this bad with my first two. And Jessica, that "eviction notice" was cute. My baby isn't quite ready to evict yet, unfortunately. I was having some pain and contractions last night, and it really sunk in that as close as I am to the end, it's not time yet for me and Baby.

Shea, thinking about you and wishing a wonderful induction day tomorrow! How exciting! As much as I want to fast forward to the 20th, knowing this is my last pregnancy, I am trying to enjoy and make the best of these last weeks of closeness with this LO. It's crazy, because I am in lots more pain than my firstborn, but knowing i have less than 3 weeks is knocking me alongside the head with a reality check! Shea, update us when you can! Cute profile pic, MIM!!

Well Do I have an update for you ladies. Today at 12:58 pm Mountain time Joseph Douglas was born. He was 5 lbs 11 ozs, and 18 1/2 inches long. At 1:45 am This morning, I woke up thinking I wet the bed, But an hour later, after a few tests, I discovered that my water broke. I didn't have contractions until about 4:30 am. I got an epidural. I couldn't do it. And after only 20 minutes of pushing, my son came into this world. My daughter was born after about 19 hours of labor. My son was born in under 12 hours. When I get the pictures on the computer I will put some on this site. He is so cute. He has blonde hair and of course blue eyes. He's so tiny. I'll update a little more when I get some sleep. There are some details I didn't mention, but I can barely keep my eyes open. I just wanted you guys to know. Have a good night

llmommy - May 3

Wow! Congratulations! So no induction for you. Your son sounds so little and perfect. Get some rest, and I'm sure we all look forward to hearing more juicy details!

jac1019 - May 3

Congrats, Shea... Jospeh sounds absolutely wonderful. Douglas is a family name on my husband's side. Get some rest and be well.

jessica72 - May 3

Congrats Shea and family!!! :)

Congratulations! Hope you and baby are doing well. Get some rest and keep us updated... When are the rest of the babies going to come?!?!?

mommy in may - May 4

How is everyone doing on this fine Monday? Any more babies?!

jac1019 - May 4

The rest of our babies need to arrive! Due to the Boppy gift that my college roommate gave me on Friday, I have had three nights of almost undisturbed sleep- except for the inevitible trips to the bathroom. I know the Boppy is for baby, but do I love it! As I complete my 38th week tomorrow, I am ready for my son to be here. I get B.H. contractions, backache, and am effaced and dilated, but... I am just going to keep eating my pineapple, eggplant, etc. and hold onto hope. Yesterday morning I scrubbed the bathroom like a maniac with an old toothbrush and then started yelling at my husband because I felt he wasn't helping... it was only 9 a.m. I had to stop, take a deep breath, and leave for a walk to the local coffee shop for some alone time to calm myself. I was so manic, and for the forst time since the end of my first tri., started to rehash the severe anxiety issues I had in the past... ugh.. Sorry, had to vent. How is everyone else?

Ok- So I'm obviously new at this... I'm 38 weeks right now. Well, you see, the doctors have given me "due dates" anywhere from the 10th to the 20th of this month but we're still operating like it was the 20th (not that big of a difference). Anyhow, I started having some stronger BH about 2 weeks ago and the baby dropped about the same time so I've been waddling like an injured duck since then. Anyhow, yesterday I started with the looseness when goin to be bathroom and, again, annoyingly stronger BH that have no consistency. Now today I am absolutely exhausted and feel JUST as if it were the day before my regular cycle would start (crampy, backaches, tired, pale...) while yesterday I was FULL of energy and organized my entire house!! Agh... I guess I'm just hoping the end is nearer than 2 weeks? I haven't slept a full night in over a month and I dread having to get up from bed as I am so stiff and usually can't even feel my legs at first. Then when I do get up my stomach, hips and back hurt so bad I wanna cry on my way to the bathroom. Anybody think labor could be soon???

llmommy - May 4

KatsMeow, I wrote a reply earlier, but had connection issues, and it got lost. Anyway, loose stools, strong BH, and feeling like your cycle is coming are all good signs. I felt that way the day before my first daughter was born. (At 38 weeks.) So maybe it'll be soon for you. Jac, a maniac with a toothbrush! Sounds scary. I'm glad you got to get out and take a breather. I'm not doing so great these days, either. But it won't be long for any of us, fortunately. (It just feels like it's taking forever!)

jessica72 - May 4

Man, it's getting quiet in here as more and more of our Mommies are having babies and becoming too busy. :) I feel left out! I have roughly two weeks till my c-section and it seems like a year away!! Kats, I agree with LL, those sound like very promising signs. Got your bag packed??? Ok, so I have planned my daughter's 2nd birthday party for the 15th, roughly 5 days before my c-section. Am I nuts??? I just want her to have her last birthday party all to herself and now that she kinda "gets" it, I don't want to skip it. It won't be huge, but just about 30 people, including adults and kids. I am in full b__wn type A planning mode, which will keep my mind off waiting. :) I just hope all this planning doesn't go down the drain when I have to call everyone and tell them, "you'll never guess what happened!!" :P Night ladies! May you all have a restful, minimal aching and peeing night!! :)
