WOW leaking already.....
Im 32 weeks and I have not started leaking yet, I wonder if that is something that I should worry about.
I did have another question.........
some times I feel this little one moving alot then there are times when she does not move hardly at all. I mean I might feel her a few times a day. I know that you should feel the baby at least 10 times a hour but some times I dont. Has anyone else had this problem with their little one?

Munch, not everyone leaks. It isn't anything to worry about. I just make some much it has no where to go. I over produce. I have had to learn to express the last couple of weeks (I am 36 weeks now). I start to gush and won't stop. My hubby just looks at me in bewilderment when I am ma__saging my b___sts and holding a cloth to absorb the colostrum.
As for the baby moving. As there is less and less room to move, the activity starts to come in waves. I have times where I don't feel much all day and then for hours the baby is moving (big and small movements). I was reading that I should really notice a decrease in movements this week as some of the amnionic fluid is starting to be re-absorbed. If you are really concerned, like all the books I have been reading, talk to your doctor.
Well I have a doctor's appointment this Friday. I can't wait!!

Anyone else getting like a trembling feeling? Like the baby is shaking? I get it every once in a while and it only lasts a few seconds. I don't think its anything to worry about, I looked it up and seems like its her nervous system developing. Just wanted to see if anyone else is getting it. I usually don't feel her move 10 times an hour, but defiantly 10 times a day.

munchmom - I've also noticed a decrease in the baby's movements the last few weeks...it worried me at first, but really I think he's just running out of room since I'm only 5'1"...if I get too worried, I drink a gla__s of juice and see if he moves...he has yet to disappoint :) I also have not started leaking and cannot get anything to come out at all, no matter how hard I try! That definitely worries me, but I guess I'll just wait it out. I really don't want to have to use formula, but if I have no control over it than there's no use worrying about it...
Tomorrow I go to the doctor to see whether or not he'll take me off bedrest. I'm still having contractions randomly (had them daily for 3 weeks now...some of them are almost bad enough that I can't talk through them!) but I'm also 35 weeks so I'm not entirely sure what he'll do. I don't think the baby wants to come early tho because he hasn't dropped at all! I want him to so badly b/c it's been so long since I've been able to take a deep breath...
I'm also just now starting to get uncomfortable...still no trouble sleeping, but my body aches so badly when I do wake up and if I stay in any one position for too long throughout the day, it hurts when I finally do move. Guess I've been lucky to be comfortable up to this point tho :)
My hubby and I just finished labor cla__ses this past week and I have to say I found them very informative and they helped calm my anxiety just a little. I tend to do better with things when I know exactly what to expect and know what my options are :)
Hope everyone else is doing well!

Well ladies it is geting close for some of you, are you guys getting excited or kind of nervous? Man I so can not wait to see who little Noelle looks like. I think my son who looks just like me but a boy, and hubby thinks she will look like him. We shall see.
I am at a little over 32 weeks today I go in for another 2 week apt next Tues. I had asked if I get another sono before she comes but my doc said that since I am not having any problems and I am not high risk then I more than likely will not. That sucks big time. I have not seen my little one since the 20 week sono. I am so thinking about going to get a 3D or 4D just to see here again. I do get to listen to her little heartbeat at each apt, but I just want to see here again.

hey ladies!
I had an appointment yesterday - the first where they check my internal "status" and guess what ... I'm already 2-3 cm dilated. I know I could stay like this for weeks, but I have to say it did kick us into high gear a bit. I'm 35w6d today, and the doc said that if I have contractions 10 min apart, I need to go home, put my feet up and drink lots of water. If anything more happens this week, then they'll try to slow me down, but not after next week. Yikes!
Can anyone help me out with what it's like to lose the mucus plug? How much is it? I've had to wear panty liners for months now, but seem to be having different fluid today than before. It's definitely not broken water, but I'm curious.
I know I've been having small contractions because of when they were tracking me in the hospital, but I really haven't had any pain at all.
the midwife says that even if i stay at 2-3 for a while, it's very unlikely that i'll go all the way to my due date. so last night, we set up the ba__sinet, and i started packing my hospital bag. today i get the rest of the stuff i need for the hopsital, get some diapers, and hopefully we'll get the dang car seat installed.
hopefully i'll make it to the weekend and we can to the crib and such. i really need to make it to the 14th at least, because that's when my work replacement starts.

Well mommies it has been a while, how are you all doing? Any babies come early yet? I hope not, well I had my 33 week check up today. All is well, she is still growing and head down even thought it really does not matter. We listened to her heartbeat and it was at 140 doc said it was good. I gained another 4lbs in 2 weeks. I was like WOW. I thought around this time you only gain a pound a week, I guess she is making up from earlier. Umm he guessed that she weigh some where around about 4 lbs now. Hubby was trying to say she was almost 6 lbs already. What the hell. I know that I have poped out a little more, but she is not that big yet. What else.... I know the time of the c section. It is going to be on October 19th at noon. Which is good because I want to take my son to school that day, since I will not be able to for a while. Hubby still think that she will come early, I am so praying that she does not. I have been on other boards and alot of October mommies have had their babies in August and a few already in Sept. I just pray that she stay put until the c section date. I go back to the doc in 2 weeks so I will have another report then.

Hi all - I'm so bummed to find that at 36 wks today, baby is still breech - head up, bum down, arms/ legs pointing to the rt side. Finally my ob and I discussed c-sec today, as it may be inevitable if she doesn't reposition in a couple weeks. We tried everything (I think) and continuing - inversions, floating in pool, acupuncture , moxibustion, music, talking, visualize , etc. Also did Chiro Webster tech and will go on with it. Please pray she turns !! :)
I'm and always was afraid of surgeries, but if it must, then that's that. I do hear from many it's not so bad. But I also hear it hurts for a lot longer / and a month minimum healing time, etc. Ugh. But, then I suppose u r not going thru the 12 to 36 hrs labor.
Anyway, I would love to hear the cold hard truths from all who had c-sec and how u dealt with various things/ pains, any tips u can share to help me prepare.
I did a lot of prep for natural birth, so if this does turn out to be a c, it's just gonna be about 3 wks from now, and feel very shook up and scared.
Thanks all for any experience / advice u can share . Good luck to all. One highlight - my strep was neg. :-»

bumblebee~~~
well my c section was not that bad, I believe that if it is scheduled then it is much better than having and emergency c section. I will share my experience with a c section with you........
I had it scheduled bc my little one was breech also. So we went in at 7, they did blood work, put in and IV, shaved me (please do it yourself, they can sometimes rush and you could get a small knick), I did paperwork, and before I knew it it was time to go to the OR. Hubby & my aunt was in there with me during the section. It took no time at all. He was born at 7:37. I got to see him right away. When they were done i was out back in my bed and they gave me my little one as they took me back to my room. He was with me until they took him for blood work and to get a bath, shots and all of that. The recovery was not that bad. I mean you can not lift anything heavier that the baby. You did have a major surgery so you have to be super careful. I knew that, but I was cooking, cleaning, and doing it all. I was staying with my aunt bc hubby did not have the apt set up for us yet. So I was cleaning and cooking at her house. I did not have a set back from doing so much work. You do bleed just a little bit after the section.
But this time we are ready and I am going to relax after this c section. If you have any more questions or if you have any concerns feel free to ask me.

We had got some good news yesterday....... hubbys cousin had her baby. She had a little girl name Imani. She was 5lbs 10 oz. Ohh she is so cute. We were at the hospital all night looking at the baby and talking to his cousins husband. This was their first baby and she had to have an emergency c section bc her blood pressure had gotten too high. But yeah seeing that little girl made me want my little one so bad. But I still want her to wait at least 5 weeks before she comes. Just thought that I would share the good news.

Hello. So I'm 33 weeks tomorrow. Anyone else here not having much of an appet_te? I have to force myself to eat, if I don't I get queazy &/or heart burn. Nothing sounds great to me. I a__sume the baby is pushing on my stomach and from what I read is normal, just wondered if anyone else had this.
Hubby & I go on 9/11 for a 3D/4D ultrasound. Cant wait!

Samara- I have noticed that my appet_te is not as much most days. However I am 37 weeks (yesterday) and the baby was "engaged" at 36 weeks. I find I eat more when I do though and my heartburn is a lot better since the baby isn't right up against my stomach.
This Friday I have another doctor's appointment. I think I might ask to see if he will do an internal. I feel so much pressure down even lower. I also have been getting more BH and contractions. They feel like period cramps starting in my back and moving round the front of me.
I had to laugh because my dad called yesterday saying I was on his mind and couldn't stop worrying about me. So he called me to ask me where I was. I have noticed though my body is really getting ready for this baby. I just wish when your body got ready it would be soon. You can stay like this for weeks. Oh and sorry if it is TMI but I am on my second day of the runs. It is terrible as it keeps me up most of the night and the day.
Munch_ that is so exciting to have family and friends to be delivering so close to you.
Well I am getting excited to be reading about birth stories here soon!
Hope you all have a great day.

Munch - thanks so much - really helps to know what to expect. Did it hurt at the incision terribly after u r home ? I'm guessing it must be painful in the hospital - but there is always painkillers... I heard u r kept in hospital 4 days and they start making u walk a bit very next day. Maybe I shouldn't think much and it'll go fine - but can't help it just yet!! :-»)

bumblebee~~ actually yeah I am not going to lie to you, it did hurt after. Even in the hospital it hurt pretty bad, but they do give you meds to help with the pain. They will get you up the next day to get you to walk around a little bit. They dont want you to just lay there, but it will hurt. You are in the hospital for about 4 days. Well I was in there for 4 days. I mean its normal to think abut it just n case and I would rather know whats going to happen rather than it be a total suprise to me. it will be fine either way it goes. This is goig to be my second and I am getting nervous all over again. So its normal. Lets just hope your little one turns. Good Luck
