Well, just got back from doctor. All my gymnastics didn't work. Doc said he hasn't even budged and he's as breech as they come. So, he scheduled me for a c section on February 16th.

I know how that feels.  My first was a breech baby and I think my second is too.  (not confirmed but it feels the same) but don't worry a C-Section isn't ideal but it is okay.  And don't let anybody tell you it is the "easy way out"  I got that a bit and it is definitely not true.  I would take the pain of labor and the quick recovery over the 2 months of recovery for a c-section anyday.  That being said I would suggest you talk with your doctor and visit the labor and delivery unit to ask about their policies for a c-section so you know what to expect.  Make sure they know if you want to hold baby right away and if you want to breast feed right away.  Most hospitals should accommodate this if it is what you want.  It is major surgery so you are going to get all the same treatment as for any other surgery (IV, catheter, etc) however you will be awake and aware when baby is born and it can still be a fantastic experience.  I will never forget the way my girl cried when they pulled her out.  The memory still brings tears to my eyes.  Just be sure you take good care of yourself after the c-section.  Infection and blood clots are both a risk to be good to yourself mama!
