Just a thought...maybe a maternity support belt might help you girls by relieving some of the weight? Worth a try or asking your doc

I couldn't find an answer in the pregnancy books I have, but this is exactly what I have too. I've been sore around my crotch for a couple of weeks, and today in the shower I noticed the right side felt like it was bulging out!! It feels like a swollen vein uinder the skin and it's tender. I do a lot of walking and sitting at work and I thought it was from friction from rubbing when I walk a lot, or pressure from sitting too long. It looks all puffy and lumpy, but I feel better after hearing that a lot of you have the same thing. Thank you!!

Yeah i think its normal i had my baby girl jan.5th and beside giving birth and being cut and tearing after that swelling went away i havent had any swelling i think its prolly just a normal pregnancy thing...Most women get it...My cousin said they had a lotta swelling around down there too....

I suffered from extreme swelling and interestingly enough i found that applying vitamin E really helped. You can buy vitamin E in a liquid tablet form, pierce the plastic capsule and use the liquid. Should work. And of course applying ice always does the trick too. Best if you put some water on a pad and freeze it. Then use.
