I'm 8 months pregnant and I feel like I have vibrations down in my va___a. Is that normal? What could that be?

I have experienced this too and some one suggested it was the baby settling in for the birth the head may be engaged and the shoulders maybe moving about nothing to worry about

I'm six months pregnant and have experienced vibrations. The first time was a few weeks ago and now again. The vibrations come and go regularly about every minute or so. They don't hurt and are very soft. If I'm very busy I don't even recognize them. I'm curious as to what this means.

Could t be the baby with hiccups? i wondered what these vibrations were at first then asked my midwife, i get it everyday-im now 39weeks and its been happening for about 3 weeks, if the vibrations are regular and last about 5 minutes or so thats what i would put it down to.it feels stronger sitting.

i would say its the baby with hiccups, it feels stronger if you are sat down-i first felt this at 36 weeks-i am now 39 and the baby gets hiccups almost every day. if the vibrations are regular and feel stronger when sat down then thats what i would put it down to

I think it is just your bones spreading getting ready for the big day, I am 9 months pregnant and i am getting similar feelings, but sometimes painful for the last 4 weeks or so, get your doctor to check your cervix just to be safe.

I WISH I KNEW THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION BECAUSE I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, EXCEPT I AM ONLY 6 MONTHS ALONG. I AM A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT IT BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS. SOMETIMES IT IS MORE SIGNIFIGANT THAN OTHERS BUT, IT IS STILL A CONCERN TO ME.....IF ANYONE COULD HELP I WOULD APPRECIATE IT GREATLY!

I'm currently in my 37th week and I've recently felt what I can only describe as vibrations in my womb. It's not like hiccups. It's more like the tingling, vibrating feel you get in your fingers if your hand has been asleep and blood is just returning to the fingers.. Is that what you're feeling? I have no idea what it means.

Not sure what it is, but it isn't hiccups.  I've had five children, and they all had hiccups while in utero.  The last pregnancy is the only one that I experienced the vibrations with.  It prompted my doctor to order an emergency ultrasound.  Everything was fine, but that sensation still remains a mystery.  Hiccups sensation is much different.
