CLOMID SURVEY

If you're having fertility treatments your chances of having multiples is increased, depending one which treatment. The rate of twins can be as many as 1 in 40 pregnancies. So I suggest we do our own survey.... How many women have used clomid & concieve a singleton or twins or triplets, etc.?? Then when we get to 40 women WE will see if its only 1 in 40 pregnancies that multiple births occur.

Well, if you are taking a clomid survey about twin pregnancies on a twin board, I don't think you will be getting real % of chances. You should really do this on a trying to get pregnant board or something like that.

i took clomid 100mg cd 5-9 and found out i was 4 weeks pregnant july 24th, i had an ultrasound done aug. 7th at roughly 6 weeks and only found one ges. sac. so one baby for me unless they missed something

Its a TWINS BY CLOMID survey..... thats 1 pregnancy ---singleton (thanx-jazmine)

Donna1, what same here is sayng is that you won't get accurate results because this is a multiple births board so there is a larger number of women here who have had twins or trips. The results you get here won't be accurate because it's not an accurate sampling of the entire population of women who took clomid. Most of who conceived singletons don't post here so your 'twinning' rate will be higher than what the actual rate is.

Donna1 Why are you so concerned with having multiples? Do you know the heartache I had to face when I lost my three? It it very uncommon to have more than one. I used clomid on three monitored cycles now and have not been able to produce more than one egg. It really kills me to see people like you coming on these forums and hoping for twins. Don't you know the complications increase or are you only worried about your selfishness? Really, you need to get a life.

jazminesmom - you were just trying to help with the suvey and her response was very rude. No one has to respond at all on this useless survey! I do have to agree with Baliezer that Donna1 here seems quite the obsessed one about having multiples and was probably upset that your experience with clomid resulted with one baby which just won't do for her.

HA HA! My response wasnt meant to be rude. But you can take it how ever you will. If you dont have any input then why are YOU obsessing.... you can choose to answer or not it is completely up to you. NO one is twisting your arm. Its not that serious... its a simple question. Ive noticed a few women here on these boards make it the highlight of their day to trash-talk or contridict every statement that isnt exactly how they would go about it. Move on ladies....if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all!!!!!!

i am very sorry, i thought you were being mean. i am sorry i was trying to help

oh its no problem... Im interested in twins so much because Id love to have them. I completely understand the trials & tribulations that may come with a twin pregnancy, birth & so on & so forth but just because someone else had a bad experience that isnt goin to detor me from how I feel. No its not easy but NOTHING ever is. Ive had 4 previous pregnancies & each time I hoped & prayed for twins. My father is a twin & ever since I started having children its always been my dream. Im sorry if some cannot understand that. Its to each his own!
