When i went to the doctors i took a pregnancy test, it came back posotive which was fantastic news. Then i was asked the question if twins are in my family anywhere and i said no because as far as i am aware there isnt. My partner was also asked the question, which i thought was wierd as i was always said it had to run in the females side of the family. Anyway my partner said no. Then when i get home from the doctors and we talk to my partners mum, she said her mums sisters are twins. I just wondered if it is worth mentioning to the midwife when i see her on saturday. I have been feeling sick every single day all day and on the occasions i have been sick. Mainly just clear fluids. This nausea started just over a week before my period was late so i have so far een feeling this say for just over 10/11 weeks and i am only 9 weeks today. (well according to my LMP) Well i was wondering if there is a possibility that i may be carrying 2 babies rather then one.

it is possible if the twins are fraternal because these are hereditary and the gene can be pa__sed down. identical twins are just the luck of the draw. you should mention it to her that way when they do an ultrasound they will pay careful attention to look for it

ANY MORE ADVICE THEN TWINS

how much or how long you have morning sickness has nothing to do with twins. that can also be with a singleton. i know parents of twins that had no sickness at all. good luck
