MelissaSLP: Did you take the Trigger shot along with your clomid when you conceived the twins? Or were you just a clomider?

No, I didn't do the tigger shot with any of my clomid cycles. It did take 6 cycles for the first, 5 cycles for the one we lost and then concieved the twins on the next cycle. I was on Metformin as well.

My husband and I have been trying for over two years now to get pregant with our second child. I took all the tests and everything looks normal; however, my doctor put me on 50 mg of Clomid. I starting taking it today (day 3-7). Does anyone know if you ovulate fine if your chances go up for having twins; example: because you drop more eggs if you ovulate regular? Also does side affects usually start right away on the clomid. I haven't felt any side affects yet and I'm hoping I don't get them too bad. I'm a little worried about everyone talking about how crazy they get when they take clomid. Thank you in advance for your help.

Libby 22, this was my first month on clomid. I took it day 5-9. Not too many side effects. I also worry about conceiving twins again (I already have a set of fraternal). My doctor put me on clomid for a luteal phase defect not because I wasn't ovulating. I am actually due for AF tomorrow so I will probably test either tomorrow or Saturday.

My doc prescribed clomid 10/1 for 5 days. This was my CD5-CD9. I got a HCG shot on 10/10. This is my first clomid dosage.(100mg) On 2 dpo I can feel sore nipples. Today is its 5 dpo. same sore nipples. my estrogen is 250 and FSH is 3.37 ↑counting on days

Hello everyone, I started my first dose of clomid 5-9 100mg on November 1. I experienced symptoms such as hot flashes and headaches. I was taking it during the day for the first two days, then I read that it was better to take it at night to bypa__s some of the symptoms and it worked. I had a few hot flashes through the night but it wasnt bad at all. I had blood work done on the 3rd and 10th day of my cycle. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow November 12. I will come back and tell you my results of the blood work.

I took mine 5-9 and and starting again after 6= months off...due to m/c and wanting to take a break from ttc. I am going to be on 100mg, last time i went up to 150mg but had a lot of s/e.

hello everyone!!! I took clomid 50 mg days 5-9 did not help. I got my period on x-mas so doc was not working i called left a message. Next day nurse called me said doc wants me too take another cycle of clomid but 100mg. She called it in, but now i am worried was he suppose to do an ultrasound because he told me if you get your period you come and see me if not you still come and see me but he was not working :( so that's my story now i will start taking 100mg a will see what happens. Did anyone get pregnant on first round of 100mg Clomid (days 5-9) after having a long cycle/late ovulation prior to clomid?

I took clomid days 3-7 for two cycles. Didn't get pregnant. I gave it a break for two months and then tried it cycle days 5-9 February 2017 and got my BFP. unfortunately, I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks due to incompetent cervix. 

We will try again over the summer. Hopefully it works again.

Hi Freebird.  I also took Clomid days 5-9 had iui done 6/3/18.  So I'm in my tww.  I was just wondering if you had the iui done the day after positive ovulation test?  This is what my dr. did.  He did not do any scans or trigger shot.  I am hoping this works for me and my hubby.  We ahve not baby danced yet after the iui not sure if that will increase chances?
