I found out in Feb at my first u/s - what a shock! I am 33 weeks today (July 29) and my docs don't think I'll make it past 37 weeks. We'll see! As time has gone on, I have become more and more uncomfortable. I have gained 48 pounds so far and have had problems with back pain, leg pain, hehmroids, not being able to sleep - the list goes on and on!! I can't say I am in pain, but I am constantly uncomfortable. But we are excited to meet our two boys and I will be happy when this pregnancy is over!! Not long now...

We found out that we were having twins last month!! I am still early in my pregnancy, I am 9 weeks. So far, all is good........the heartbeats are strong and I am already starting to pop out!! It's amazing.

I found out at my first ob appointment. I was 6 weeks. They did an u/s and she said your having two babies. It was a pretty big shock. When I called my husband he didn't believe me. I'm 20 weeks now and expecting twin boys. I'm uncomfortable, Not as uncomfortable as ohmyitstwins, yet, but I'm sure I'm getting there. My dr. said they were going to take them around 36 weeks so we'll see what happens then. I feel like a whale I have not gained any weight, I've lost about 12lbs. I've had very bad all day sickness. While I'm not gaining anything I have popped and I look about 8 months pregnant. The babies are growning just fine and are very healthy.

Do you guys have twins in your families??I hope you guys feel better I have'nt been feeling very well

I have no twins on my side but my husband is a twin. I know that isn't supposed to matter, but he did this to me, lol. How far along are you jody?

mrssolo~ I am 14 weeks and 6days!!!Lol I have twins on my side and he has none either!!!I am in shock because I have a 3 year old daughter and Im trying to figure out how I am going to do this lol I have to get another car so the whole family can be together Im nervous Im excited all at the same time!!! do you guys have any names??do you have a preference on what they are???

ohmyitstwins~ Well as long as you make it to 35 weeks you should be awesome but Im sure you will make it you sound liek a strong women!!!What are your names for the boys if you dotn mind me asking??

Well we don't have names for our boys yet. We can't agree. His latest names were Bear and Bull, um, oh NO. So we still don't have names. soon it will come down to an arm wrestling match or something. My mom keeps asking and I have nothing to tell her. He just has to be strange sometimes. It's a good thing he is so good looking I'll tell you that much.

mrssolo~ thats funny about the good looking thing!!See we have 2 names one for a boy or a girl!!See we were pregnant a year ago and lost it so yeah we have had names for quit sometime!!So your having boys thats awesome!!!When do they know if the paternal or faternal??

Well first they said faternal, they they said identical, and now they say faternal..... So I'm just gonna wait untill they are born before I beieve them. It looks that I have one placenta, but it could be two that are pushed together. At my first appointment the dr. said she would not make a decision until they were born. after having every tech say something different I think I might just listen to her

Looks like our boys are fraternal - they say there are 2 sacs and 2 placentas. But there is a chance they could still be identical - I opted not to do the amnio so we'll just have to wait and see!! I was rereading my post and I sound like such a whiner!! Unfortunately, though, those are some of the things you guys have to look forward to!! My biggest problem has been the backache for sure. Oh, and the names are going to be Jack Allan (Allan is my dad) and Wyatt George (George is my hubby's dad). I also have a 14 year old son - Kyle - from my first marriage. All 3 of us are so excited to meet our new additions!! Probably only 2 or 3 more weeks now!! I can take it for as long as I need to - just want everything to be ok for the boys...
