High HCG Early Weight Gain

Like a lot of you, I am curious if my symptoms are signs of twins. Fraternal Twins runs on my mother's side. At 14 DPC HCG was 399, at 21DPC HCG was 9,991. An early ultrasound at 14 DPC showed 2 blips right beside each other. The Lab technician gave me the picture but would not put her word on it as being confirmed. The Dr. states that I am measuring slightly larger than average, but I am gaining an average of five pounds a week. I have been schedule for an Ultrasound on Monday. Any thoughts or anyone who has experienced this is?? Thanks.

I am wanting to know the same thing. I had an HCG at 11 dpo and it was 312.
