Hello Ladies, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the PGD testing for gender selection? I have 2 boys already and I really want a little girl to complete our family. I have read ton of stuff online about it and due to its success rate for ender selection I am in the process of having this done. I am having bloodwork done next week followed by an appointment with my fertility dr to discuss IVF. So I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has done IVF/PGD and how many cycles did it take for you to get pregnant? The country that we live in does not do PGD for gender selection so we are planning on traveling to the US to have it done. I am hoping that I get pregnant during the first round but what should I realisticly expect? How many cycles? Also, being that I haven't had any previous fertility problems, will that help increase my chances of getting pregnant the first cycle? I'm really not trying to be insensivtive to anyone out there who has problems ttc. So I appoligise in advance if this post offends anyone! I felt like this is the only place that I could turn to to get advice and answers from women who have had sorts of experience with either IVF or PEG. I can certainly relate to most of the women in here because I have lost 2 babies in the past and (while I say that I dont have any fertility issues) I certainly did not get a BFP with either of my DS's the first couple of cycles that we were ttc.
