I have 12 weeks of pregnancy and my Dr. and some people tell me that i am carrying twins I have curiosity and want to know how could i know before having an ultrasound?

I can see how your DR would say he/she THINKS you MAY be having twins, but without an u/s, there is no way of knowing no matter what your signs or symptoms. Good luck!

When you asked your dr that same question what was the answer? What is she basing that on? hCG levels? Size of your uterus? What?

What is your Dr. basing this on? The only way to truly know is an sono as all the other factors (big fast, high hcg, extreme symptoms) are also felt by moms of singletons.
