Hi annala - I know what you mean by wanting another. We have two other children 10 and 8. Twins would be great although that is not why I took clomid. I lost my left fallopian from an ectopic preg. and did research online about chances of conceiving again and read that each month my chances would be about 4%. Not very promising, so I took 50mg clomid cd 3-7 (first cycle) and am 6 wks preg. today. I go to my first appt. on Monday and I'm really scared they're going to find triplets or more! Do you have any fertility problems now or just can't seem to get preg? The last few months before I started clomid I would start brown spotting about 8dpo and would continously get heavier until AF, so something may have been off with my luteal phase but not sure. Please kepp me posted and I'll let you know how everything goes on Monday! Lots of baby dust to you!!

Let me correct..... I took 25mg cd3,4 and 50mg cd5,6,7

Yes and they were 12 weeks early. The spent 10 weeks in the NICU. 1 had more problems than the other. Both are doing well and hopefully things will continue to go well with their development and such. Good luck.

hello pk74 i'm glad you responed i'm going nuts i'm on day 2 of clomid 1st time ever and i have 3 children now 12,11, and 8 years old but i guess i was so young when i had them and they were not planned i was 17 when i had my 1st that it just happened now its been 10 years since my last pregnacy and for a year nothing has happened my periods seem normal but i can't get the whole wanting to have a baby out of my mine i guess because i;m pushing 30 years old this year and i know i don't want anymore children after 30 and my husband really don't wanna have one to much later he thinks oh we'll be 40 when the kids 10 lol he's funny anyways but he is the dad of all 3 i have now but any ways i'm on 50mg days (3-7) i'm on day 2 now and so far no side effects just a little stabbing pain in my right overy that i will feel off and on for about an hour only and it happens about 2 hours after i take the pill. can you tell me when you started you clomid and what days you took it and was you on clomid from doctor or online script? and did you have any side effects this would help me feel better i want twins but i'm scared of triplets so scared i have seen a few post of women that got prego with triplets but it seems all the ones i read were on 100 mg of clomid so do you think me and you are safe using 50 mg i mean safe from triplets?

pk74 hey i was wanting to know what exactly is a ectopic pregnacy i here people saying they had one but not sure just what they mean

pk74-was october when you started your clomid and was this your 1st month taking it or have you taking it before and good luck on monday at the doctor are they gonna do a scan monday? please keep me posted i would love to know how it went because i am with you on the triplets my body couldn't handle that i am against reduction so i would be so scared.

and if you r 6 weeks preg does your stomach seem big to you?

twinmom2be- thank you for your post back that is great that the baby's are doing well now but i'm sure it was very hard going home with out them and all the stuff that went along with them being early so did you have problems that you couldnt get prego is that why you took clomid? and with it being your 1st time on clomid and you got prego with the twins what days did you take it and what mg? would love to hear back from you.......i just really want to get prego this month and advice it's my 1st round and one more thing lol sorry did you take the robitussin thing or baby asprin? been reading post on that

also have ya'll heard of drinking milk to increase twins? i was reading up on this just tonight and to my suprize if this is true oh my god.... i drink like a gallon of milk every 3 days or less my self i love milk

Hi annala! Just thought I'd pop in and answer some of your questions. An ectopic preg. is when the baby implants inside the fallopian tube instead of the uterus. Sometimes they can give you a shot to shrink it but because of the location and the size of mine, I had to have surgery and lost my whole left tube. I started taking clomid on Sept.25 (cd 3-7) The only side effects I had while I was taking it was I seemed to be a little more aggravated with everything, I had a short temper. The week leading up to ovulation I had abd. bloating and constipation, but as soon as I ovulated it was gone. This was my first cycle of clomid and I got it online. I'm going to insist they do an u/s on Monday but I'm sure they would anyway since I've had an ectopic before and they can make sure it's in the right place. I'm still a nervous wreck about it being triplets or more. I'm like you - I had always said I would never have anymore kids after 30, but when I got pregnant again at 31, I was upset at first but then really excited. When we found out something was wrong and the baby could not be saved I was devastated. I didn't realize how much I wanted another baby until we lost ours. If everything goes ok with this one I will be 32 when it's born. I really hope it's going to be fine because I don't think I could handle another loss. Pray for me and I'll post tomorrow after my appt.

pk74-hey i guess i miss you when your on posting i work alot of hours and 7 days a week so i get on when i can sometimes late at night when everyone is offline and i'll be so tired like now i just got home not long ago been at work 13 hours today but i just had to get on and see if you text me back because i took 3rd pill today and so far no side effects but i tell ya i ran around like getting er done today i think it was the pill lol that was funny:) but i can't wait till you go tommorrow so i will know how many eggs are fertile i bet you will be early for your appt. i know i would be like 30 mins early and then baby you'll get in faster woo hoo but i thought ectopic pregnacy was a tubel just wanted to make sure where i'm from that's what every calls it a tubelization or tubel pregnacy i just never heard of it called ectopic before so i wanted to make sure it's where you get pregnat in your tubes so that's for re-suring me on that any ways i think 32 is fine to have a baby it's just my oldest son is going to be 13 in january and my daughter 12 in feb and my other daughter 10 in april i just don't want them to be any further apart in age than they are now i guess i want them to always be close i guess that's why if i had twins they would have each other you know. also i was gonna tell you i have been reading alot of post over the last few months before i ordered clomid online and i seen where alot of women were pregnat or had been pregnat with identical twins while taking clomid and they would all type the same thing well the clomid didn't work for me because i'm pregnat with identicals but i seen so many women saying this i bet clomid can mature the egg so much that when it is fertilized it splits what do you think? just something i was thinking not really that important just wondering what someone else thought about it i guess well can't wait till tommorrow

You've watched discovery health channel so you know about all the complications from a multiple birth? Did I read that right? Try taking an actual tour of a NICU. Not all those babies will get to go home. And the ones that do may have developmental delays and lifelong disabillities. "Special Delivery" only shows you the best case scenario of those complications and no long term effects. I have triplets that were from injectible drugs, but there is a triplet mom on here who did have her triplets from 50 mg of clomid.

Hi, I took clomid 100mg CD1-5 and we are hoping for twins...our daughter pa__sed away in March from cord entanglement at 38 weeks and since we have been unable to get pregnant...we do have 3 other children 7, 5, and 3 and want 2 more. Oh and I'm offically in the 2WW...1dpo for me here...YEA!!!

annala - My appt. went great! The u/s showed only ONE healthy baby! I'm so relieved!!! It was measuring the right size and we even saw the heartbeat! I did have a cyst on my left ovary and is in the process of rupturing. The doc said it should be gone by my next appt. in 2 weeks. I hope everything is going good with you. Keep me posted!
