I did get pg with twins while taking Vitex. My cycle before starting it was anov, so I decided I would give my body a boost. I had lots of EWCM and ended up popping out 2 eggs, I did lose my dd's twin at 6 weeks, but the vitex did give me a twin pg for a short time. GL. p.s Ive read that if you eat wild yams,or increase your folic acid, which i did the mo i got pg with the twins Im carrying now.

I carried twins for 6 weeks, and had a Vanishing twin, my dd is now 3. These twins are 9+ weeks so I think they are gonna be fine. So yeah I guess I have carried twins twice if just for a short time

Where did you buy Vitex? I bought wild yam vitamins yesteday and started taking them, and I am going to start folic acid, I think I may also take Vtiex but I am not sure where to find it?

I think GNC sells it. but i got mine online at iherbdotcom they sell it pretty cheap. I would suggest getting some that is 500mg and taking 2 in the morning. I did NOT take mine during af, i started the day after af and took it till O was confirmed. Then took 1 pill a day for a few days and then stopped. There is a lot of conflicting info on vitex about when to take it, but thats what I did. I also did a survey on FF when I was on there and most of the ppl that used vitex and concieved were pg with girls..lol out of 60 women only 5 were boys..i thought that was cool..not sure why but thats how it turned out..GL

lcoots!!! Wow vitex for girls huh. Thats what I want 1 girl thats it.. 2 girls would be okay and of course I wouldnt love a boy any less but I really want a girl. I've already got 2 boys..........Did you take Vitex to get PG with the set of twins you carry now?

Hi all.... I would say try VITEX too- I've heard really good things and used it myself and am now pregnant..... I suspect twins due to symptoms- u/s will determine in April.....

No these twins are an off cycle of Clomid. I took clomid 1 mo and I concieved the mo after. Well dont hold me to the vitex and girl thing..lol its just the results of the poll we took. I do know that my vitex twins I did get a girl. Not sure what the other twin was

Thanks for your advice, I wll search for vitex on the site you provided. I already started taking yam root and folic so I am hoping that if I take the three of them for 6 months when we ttc it will be twins. I wouldnt mind twin girls but I am hoping for at least one boy.....it really doesnt matter though, twins are twins and a baby is a baby - anything would be a blessing.

melpalmer7 - I bought my wild yam root at GMC - just ask for it! I have to go back and ask for vitex - I had no idea they sold it, thanks! We are going to ttc in October - I figure if I start early I'll have better luck! gl - Heather

Yes, I read that Vitex works best as time goes on so the longer you take it the better....

Okay stupid question I am sure but what is the different between Ovulex and Vitex? Also I've heard the (only) type of wild yam (that actually helps with the chances of concieving twins) is called Agida. I went looking for some online and Found one guy who e-mailed me a while back. He owns an african foods market or somthing and says he supplys it. He was going to send me some.
