Also when you are all talking about the days you take the clomid ( example: 1-2, 3-5) are you referring to first days of ovulation or days or period or days off period- i know these might be stupid questions but I am new at this. I am 33 had 2 miscarriages when i was 32 and found out that I had a high level of progestrone and now i have that back to normal. I am just waiting till i ovulate again to start the whole baby trying process again. I think i missed it this month because i was testing in the morning and i read somewhere that is not the best time to take the predictor test because it usually takes several hours for your hgl level to show up in your pee and to test between 12 and 5 daily. Do you all agree. I know these are elementary questions to most of you all but i am really wanting my first child and i am trying to learn everything so i can have him/her or both. :) baby dust to all

No question is a stupid question, knowledge IS power! AF= aunt flow/your period; CD=cycle day(which always starts with 1st day of your period being day 1); DPO=days post ovulation; BD=bedding/intercourse. Days 1-5, 2-6,3-7, 5-9 refer to the days that you take your clomid with day one being the first day of your period. So if you are taking your clomid days 3-7, you would start on the 3rd day of your period and continue it till day 7. HTH. Glad you have your hormones under control now. Opks can be tricky but you are on track now with the right time to test. Sometimes it helps to test a couple times a day so you don't miss your surge. I would also suggest doing the bbt temping every morning at the same time. Good luck. MMOT2002

hello to all. i really haven't corresponded with any one person on a consistent basis... but i wanted to share my latest. i had a + hpt on oct 19. :) then a hcg level on the following week 28th. the results came back with numbers in the 14,000.00 range!!! took an u/s last week... TWINS!!!!!!! both look great... little hearts beating good & strong. i'm in my 7th week. feeling fairly good. i feel quilty because i have other friends who are pregnant with singles... & they are miserable..... i'm just tired..... with two little ones running around the house, it's even more tiring.... but my doc says all looks good. i'm having my progesterone levels checked weekly... it's a bit worrysome... might get injections after this next level. best wishes to all.... will keep in touch!!!!! :)

***CONGRATULATION*** That is wonderful news. Were you on Clomid? If so, what days did you take it and what dose? How many months were you on it before you got a bfp? Thanks for the good news and information. H&H 8mo. to you :o)!!! MMOT2002

to mmot2002 - November 15

thanks for the good wishes. you know i am not sure this happened due to the clomid. i did take 100mg on day 2 & 3 only. i only did it for that one time. my doc. at first a 3-4 months back didn't want to go that route... but then after reviewing my previous pregnancies with low progesterone levels... weird o's... he decided to try it. i was nervous as heck to do it, and my nerves got the best of me so i didn't continue for the other 4 days. my dr. isn't sure if just the two days did this... he thinks unlikely... but not 100%. regardless there are 2. i am near 40, that might have a role as well. thanks again.... will post updates....best wishes to all trying!!! fondly... brenda

Ok here is my story....miscarrying right now 7 weeks 1 day no heart beat on a v/us trying to expel on my own probably won't work, will have d&c tuesday. This is my six one! YUCK.. Do have 3 children, 22, 7 & 3 all girls. I am very close to 40 years old..like in 6 months, thinking should I use the clomid? will it help or will I just be setting myself up to m/c again. I know that I will only find out if I try or should I give up ? JUST FRUSTRATED with this whole thing.............Baby dust to all you lovely girls, you are all so lucky to have one another. KIND REGARDS

I took mine on cd1 50mg, cd2 50mg, CD 3, 4 & 5 100mg. I get headaches as a side effect but nothing a couple of panadol won't fix. I used OPK, but it is possible to miss the surge. Mind you if your still getting fertile signs then you probably havn't ovulated yet, I didn't ovulate till CD20. I also took mine un-prescribes although it has been subscribed in the past for me because I don't ovulate on my own very often. I get my blood test results back today hopefully. I have been getting better positives everyday so am hoping for the best! Take care & ~*~*~BABY DUST~*~*~*

This may sound silly, but I just started my second round of clomid...wanted twins but after reading the posts of twin mommies, a singleton is OK with me! But I am curious if anyone has tried fertility acupuncture...there's a specialist across the street from my house and I'm a little intrigued...just wanted to know if anyone's tried it. Thanks and baby dust to all************

Just thought I'd post an update. Had my Beta levels done at 10DPO, they came back at 22, does that seem o.k to anyone, does it seem high or low? TIA

Darleen - November 21

Linda- Sounds like your about 3wks pregnant, Congrats!

mmot2002 - November 21

OK, this is my month. I have taken the supplements faithfully now for 5 months and am ready to really ttc now. I am on cd 1 and am planning on taking my clomid 100mg days 3-7. I am a little bit nervous, not for the clomid because my trial month of 25mg& 50mg was fine, but I have never planned a pregnancy so well. What if nothing happens now? Well, wish me good luck & I do everyone else & God bless us all. One question, does anyone have an opinion on AF after clomid. I am taking it as a good sign that clomid didn't thin my lining out too much since my flow is really heavy like it usually is off clomid. Thanks again, MMOT2002

To the original KIM - November 22

Hi Kim, I have followed your story since you started this thread. I hope things have been going better since your loss. I pray your other two beans have stayed put and are growing great! Take care, MMOT2002

Just an update. All is going well so far, am now 5wks 2days. Had another blood test at 19dpo and should hopefully get those results tomorrow. With my last bub HCG was 1986 at 19dpo and i'm sure there was a second sac on the ultrasound that didn't continue to develop, the tech couldn't say for sure if it was a second sac or a hematoma, so i'm really hoping the levels are that high again or higher but I doubt it. Have my first OB appointment and ultrasound on 11th Jan Good luck to all nearing ovulation or test time :)

Linda - November 28

Well Blood test results were 1455 at 19dpo, doubling time is 34hrs

jojo - November 29

question. I started clomid but didn't know it was suppose to be started on a certain day. I haven't had a cyle in a couple of months and recently stopped taking birth control. Wondering if it will matter that I don't know what day I am on? Thanks
