Mama, YAY! I'm so glad you got your BFP!!! The reason I said I "know" I was pregnant with twins is because I just had the feeling same as Anne1224 did. Something inside me told me it was 2 babies. I felt both sides at O time which was unusual, AND my beta # was very high for 15dpo. So this time I will take Clomid days 2-6 at 50mg. Anne1224 congrats on the twins, I'm so happy for you!

Mama - Yea for you on the BFP+++!! Thats so exciting! Keep taking 1 baby asprin a day. I think it does help with the lining to keep it strong or something, someone talked about how it works but it helps aid against miscarriage. I havn't had a single drop of blood, so its doin well. Tenk its so great to see you! You getting excited about trying again? It still seems a bit surreal that I'm really carrying two babies! I can't wait for my appointment in a few hours, get to see them again! :) I'll let you know how it all goes. And again, 50mg days3-7 in the evening.

Well its not twins afterall. Went in for the u/s today and she saw what could have been another sac, but it was much smaller and she didn't see anything in it. She said I was probably measuring large because I have a bunch of fibroids. I dont know what we saw on Monday, but it was two sacs that were the same size. I guess they just messed up. I'm pretty sad about not having the second, but the one is doing great! Measuring right on schedule and 133hb.

OH, Anne, I'm so sorry that has happened. I know it's difficult to hear it but having one is still such a wonderful gift for you all. I'm still happy for you as I'm sure you are as well. Good Luck sweetie, and God Bless you and your little bean!

anne1224 and zerafa05 -- Thanks!!! We are feeling a bit better about it all. My mom and sister know, but we're not telling anyone else unti lafter my 11 week first tri-mester u/s screening. I am scheduled the Friday after Christmas. Good friends of ours lost one of their twins just before 12 weeks, so I want to make certain that both are okay before I get everyone excited about it. Everyone else will be thrilled because they don't have to take care of them - tee-hee!!! =0) Thanks again.

fataki - You are very sensible about the whole thing. I hope to be the same way when my DH and I conceive. Keep positive and look into the baby asprin to try and avoid any bleading. Good Luck and keep us updated, Melanie (Zerafa05)

just thought that you girls may want to know this i did some research on the web about clomid well 1 in 20 women who take it will have multiples, 70-80% will respond to 50-100 mg clomid and 80-90% of the women who do get pregnant will get pregnant within 3-4 cycles. just thought it was intersting to know.

Doing fine here, still hungry, still tired :) OB already said I'm off work for the entire pregnancy, so getting bored quick. Anne, I'm due 7/26 with my twins, you should email me. Well it wont post w/ an email address, so just call. My name is Angela. 937-718-5361. I have been rather shocked by peoples reaction to me being pregnant with twins. Every one reacts like it is some kind of curse. My DH's manager even told my DH ,"You must be a better man than I am to deal with that." Can you believe it! My dad, older kids, and inlaws are really the only positive ones :( (me and DH are still doing cartwheels) Just be prepared not to get the response you want when you tell people your GOOD news. God has a plan! I have another ultrasound at 1Pm today (Ohio time) let you know how it goes. Good days to all :X

congrats again Phoenix! Where in Ohio are you? Our family is in Cincy, but we live in NC now. Our families are coming here for Christmas this year since we were in Colorado for the last few years. I don't think i would care what ppl thought of us having twins (if we were) just enjoy it and forget everyone elses negativity. I think it's wonderful!

Hi, I am very excited to find this forum, I started clomid at the end of Nov. during eights of trying i wasn't ovulating. My doctor prescribed 50 mg days 5-9. I am a little sadden to hear that my chances to have twins may be lessened the later in take clomid in your cycle. I have a 5 year gap between this hoping pregnancy and my other children. Thought it would be nice to have twins. I am a twin, my mother said if you can make it through the first six months your good, after that she said my sister and I entertained ourselves, better than her single children. As far as symptoms from clomid, I have had a ton. My doctor didn't warn me about the pain I would endore. I was in horrible pain the first day I took clomid. It resided for a week and then the day after I ovulated was in so much pain I couldn't walk. The pain continued 4-5 day. I have had nausea, dizzyness, lightheadness,b___st tendersness, and the throbbing on both sides of my ovaries. I have gained 6 lbs and my stomach is so swollen. I am guessing that most of it is from cysts. I called my doctor and all he said was good it's working. Not the comfort I was hoping for, however very grateful to have ovulated/urine test postive. I will get the blood test next week. I won't know if I am pregnant until then either. I am excited and look forward to more updates. thanks for listening.

hoping: welcome! i too have found that this is a major support system! you can get a lot of useful information, and lots of suggestions and support from other women who are going through the same thing you are! so welcome and we hope to be able to share good news with each other!

Zerafa05 - December 11

hopingforablessing - are you taking you pills in the morning of the evening. A few women have found that taking Clomid in the evening has reduced the side effects as you sleep through most of them. Good Luck for twins, you are actually at higher risk of conceiving twins as you are a twin yourself. Good Luck and fingers crossed. Melanie
